Dr.Dinesh has done his residency in Orthopaedic surgery from level 1 tertiary trauma centre – Madras Medical College - where state of art surgeries are being performed and which is a referral centre for all complex trauma and sports related injuries. He has keen interest in Shoulder and complex trauma including pelvi-acetabular fractures. He has presented his research work in various state and national level conferences. He has performed a study on “Modified Bristow’s repair in patients with Recurrent Anterior Shoulder Instability” during his residency.He has completed his Fellowship in Orthopaedics & Trauma Surgery (FOTS) at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. He is the first surgeon in India to complete trauma fellowship in the prestigious Ganga hospital under the guidance of Dr.S Rajasekaran and Dr.J Dheenadhayalan.He has also completed his Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine (FASM) at Ahmedabad, under the guidance of Dr.Prathmesh Jain. He is one of the very few surgeons in India who has completed his international fellowship under the renowned shoulder surgeon Prof. Eiji Itoi in Tohoku university, Sendai, Japan. My mom was severely suffering from Knee pain over a period of 5 years. We used to take all kinds of medicines, but felt helpless. I went to Dr Dinesh Chidambaram at a stage when she was unable to move even with support. He assured me that she would be okay but need the replacement of both the knees. Moreover my mom was suffering from diabetics too. But he replaced both knees so well that she can able to walk so well now. She can able to claim the stairs as well. He gave a new life to her. Dinesh, I visited him for my dad hand injury. He explained me very clearly about the problem. All in and out. We are very much satisfied. Then he took care of dad completely in all the way. Surgery is successful. Even after the surgery he ll ask about dad health condition n he will give suggestions at any time we contact him.

I consulted Dr Dinesh for my mom's ( at the age of 70 years ) shoulder pain a year back .After diagnosis he opt for a surgery and did it successfully .Now my mom is doing well and doing her all routine works normally.
