Me and my wife have consulted Dr. Latha Janaki for couples counselling and throughout the sessions she had listen to our differences and provided solution & methods to minimise our conflicts .

Now post to sessions I am seeing better changes in our relationship.

I am a interested apply online appointment but my famil problems issue so not response and cancel this appointment.

I was recommended by a friend of mine , as it was first time for me i was very hesitant and nervous about consulting. Then when I met ma'am for the first time , she made me feel very comfortable .. the atmosphere was so good i became so relaxed and started to share my problems. At the start , I dint know to where to begin from , then ended up with more than 2hrs of consultation making others appointments wait :D .

Latha Janaki ma'am righty noted down all my problems , heard me entirely and then gave me appropriate therapy . I was given talking therapy which helped me a lot . It solved all my doubts , questions and all the rest in my mind . I was totally frank to ma'am , which is very important because she can understand me only through my experiences .

I was to give Exams of CA and was lost in between all problems , ma'am righty gave me the confidence to clear them and helped me with my exam schedules and monitored me then and there about my progress . And actually it was only because of her I was able to give my exams within a small span of time. Its was like mother -son relationship with all care and affection. I cannot forget the cup of masala tea which I had with ma'am , A Tea had never made me feel that better any day . My life is changed for better , even today I am in touch with ma'am , that's the amount of care and efforts ma'am puts in for all.

I would like the recommend to all those like me who are hestititant about conselling , leave everything aside and consultant your problems with Latha Janaki ma'am , She will change your life for better.

I had slipped into a depressive phase because of a lot of factors.healthwise n emotionally i was very weak.i hadnt the required support from my husband then. My life turned very complicated suddenly.i was a victim of verbal abuse continuously from my husband which wreaked havoc in my mind.i had left home n stayed at my moms place for almost a month.i was combating a lot of pathological problems like asthma,thyroid,menopausal problems and to add to it severe mental stress.that is when my sonsaw dr .latha janakis number n v went to meet her.the very first session eased the constriction in my chest.*** ****** ** ********* * **** **** **************she explained a lot of things 2 us n counselled us both togther as a couple.the next sitting was on another day in that weekend n that was a marathon session that lasted 4 three hours.i would say that session was really life changing.after the doctor advised my husband n me ,now v both r very very happy.lot of concern n lots of love my husband showers on me now.*** ****** ** ******* * *** ** ** ***** * * ****** **** ***i got a reprieve 4rm all my troubles only bcoz of her counselling.God bless her n may she help a lot of ppl who r caught in a stressful marriage like me.My heartfelt thanks 2 dr latha janaki mam 4 bringing back 2 life a dull marriage through her advice n counselling.* ***** **** *** ****** ** *** **** ** *** **** ************ Anyone wants marital bliss should go n see doctorlathajanaki no matter how old or new their marriage is.for your information my marriage is 26 years old.I truly wished i had seen d doctor some 16 years back.

She is the best Psychologist/Therapist in the city, this is honest opinion!

When I first searched for psychologist on Practo, I found Dr.Latha expensive and choose to visit another doctor. In fact, I visited 4 doctors in last one month and found none of them helpful. Most doctors did not spend more than 20 mins with me, did not take case notes/record my issue and suggested medicines during the first session itself (I did not expect this from any doctor; I have been to psychologist in the US and no one here in Chennai matched to my expectations of a psychologist), I am not sure if they even knew what my issues were. No one shared with me their diagnosis.

After having wasted a lot of money in visiting several doctors and due to the bad experience I had with many of them, I decided not to go to a psychologist. However, after a lot of thought, I though I will give Dr.Latha a try.

She is the best doctor in the city, definitely- Her Home-Clinic doesn't feel like a hospital or a therapy center at all. A very calm and peaceful environment, she was warm and welcoming, listened to me patiently for an hour, took down case notes and she told me the issue I was facing (matched what my doctor in US diagnosed). She did NOT suggest any medicines (medicines usually cause a lot of mood swings, hormonal imbalance - read this on internet, severe side effects ) .

She suggested a few easy techniques and a few followup therapy sessions. I practiced her techniques at home and also at her clinic a few times and I started seeing a big difference. I guess, I was making an effort but still I felt her techniques worked, hence made the effort too follow them. My husband, kids, parents are very happy! She is not money minded at all and she does not ask us to make unnecessary visits, I made 6-8 visits only and saw results after 2/3 visits. Visiting her clinic was the best decision I made.

Thank you doctor and I will definitely suggest you to all my friends & relatives :) I am happy today because of you. :)

I was emotionally feeling very low due to different circumstances and wanted to come out of it very badly, but wasn’t sure of the ways to come out, that’s when I approached Dr.Latha Janaki. She was so professional and very friendly. In the beginning she gave a good feel to me so I was able to open up easily, she carefully listened to what I was saying and was very supportive during the process. Her appreciation for few of my decisions gave me more confidence in letting her know the entire journey. Her suggestions at a few places were amazing, it made me think of different other possibilities which were lying on. The way she narrates different fictional stories, made me understand the situation and helped in gaining confidence to cope up the situation. Her way of explaining things in a single go in the way I can understand was commendable. Our first session was fruitful and made me realize many things, this had a push inside me to attend further sessions without fail.

Each session went in a different way and had its own positive vibes. Her suggestion of filling up the OCD sheet or doing a self-talk or even simply writing down what I think during the difficult times helped me to understand where I am going wrong and how I could correct myself. She constantly checks me in whatsapp and sends motivational quotes according to the situation which made me feel fresh. Her appreciation and motivation at each step improved my self-confidence and emotional constraints to a different level. Not just helping me in overcoming the problems I approached her, she also laid down different possible ways through which I can solve any problem myself in the future. I could feel the positive things inside me and enjoying my life every bit.

Someone who actually helped me at the right time, it’s Latha mam. I approached her with numerous thoughts and trauma. But with every sitting , she understood what am going through and helped me come out of that stage. Her patience in listening to my problems and providing guidance to get rid of the trauma was very much helpful for me in restarting my life. She gave me confidence in my decision and now am happily working upon myself to regain the lost me without any regrets on my decisions.
