He Graduated from Madras Medical College Chennai, he completed his DMRD (1986-1988) from Stanley Medical College, Madras University, and MD (General medicine) from Coimbatore Medical College. PhD (Reproductive Medicine) ( First PhD in Reproductive medicine in India) (1997-2002) Apollo Hospital, Chennai, TN. DR.M.G.R.Medical University, he did his Masters in Health Sciences ( Sexual and Reproductive Medicine) Annamalai University.
Achievements include Dr Award from the Dr MGR Medical University, Importing the most modern laser device 'Saturn Active' for the first time in India and serving the public. Giving free advice on infertility and sexual problems through Internet and SMS and Telephone, Conducting exhibitions on fertilization and sexual problems in the whole of India for seven consecutive years.
He has served as an Assistant Professor in Govt. Medical College Chennai. He has submitted research Articles, Foreign body in the Respiratory Tract, The Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, Patency of Biliary Ductal System in patient with Jaundice- Demonstration by Ultrasound and Percutaneous Transatlantic Colonography, 48th Congress, Sexual Problems and Treatment - meeting the challenges of mental health and family life, Ministry of Social Unity and Social Development, Malaysia., Erectly Dysfunction - Modern Treatment - First International Conference on Sexology, Chennai
He has been serving the community through institutions like "Indian Institute of Sexual Medicine", and "Aakash Fertility Center and Hospital". He has also been providing counseling and treatment for his patients from all over the world. He has published many research articles in scientific journals. He is conducting the International conference on sexology in Chennai every year. He has been working vigorously towards creating awareness in sexual medicine through scientific evidence, with an aim of young or old is affected by any kind of sexual problems or sexually derived diseases.
Dr. Kamaraj is regularly invited as a faculty in National and International conferences, he constantly updates himself in sexual medicine and assisted reproduction by participating in national and international conferences as a faculty and conducts CME and Scientific programs of which International conference on sexology for past 5 years organized to improve the scientific concepts among the consultants & general practitioners, Moreover he is conducting Television shows on a daily basis to increase the awareness about the scientific basis of sexual medicine amongst the public.
Dr Kamaraj is the author of various Tamil and English books on fertility, adolescent problems & various marital issues. Written articles about fertility concepts in various leading English and vernacular newspapers and magazines. read less
