Dr. Sanjeev Mohanty performed two surgeries for my mother about 2 weeks ago. I came across Dr. Sanjeev Mohanty’s profile while looking to get a second opinion from a senior and experienced doctor. As I was not in town, I sent my mother to Dr. Mohanty for a diagnosis and suggestion on what action needs to be taken. After the visit, my mother said the doctor made her feel very comfortable and that he very patiently answered any questions that she had. After speaking to him myself, I realized he is one of the few doctors who has the qualities that a patient always looks for – he is very good listener and patiently listened to us before answering our questions. He communicated the issue clearly in a way that we can understand and make an informed decision. He is very empathetic and makes the patients feel cared for. He did not push us for the surgery, but his approach and his way of explaining the situation convinced us. After talking to him, I was convinced that if the surgery had to be done, it must be done by none other than Dr. Mohanty. That is the kind of rapport and trust that we had developed in two meetings. Above all this, one of the qualities of the doctor that I was very impressed with was his willingness to speak to my family physician and keep him in the loop before planning the go ahead for the surgery. Two days before the surgery, I fell sick and was unfit to accompany my mother to the hospital and stay with her. I requested the doctor, and he accommodated my request to even postpone the surgery by a couple of days. I don’t think any other doctor would have so willingly accommodated this kind of request in the eleventh hour. I cannot thank him enough for doing this.

Dr. Mohanty was a huge pillar of support before and after the surgery. His excellence, expertise and precision during the surgery is unparalleled. I am extremely glad that I took the decision to go ahead with Dr. Mohanty for my mother’s well-being. I highly recommend him for all ENT related issues. And if you have chosen him to perform a surgery, I can assure you that you are in safe hands!

On 12th July I have contacted over phone and explained that my brother is suffering stomach pain on the upper portion of the stomach and also heavy disturbance in stomach by way of some type of sounds in the whole stomach. I contacted Dr Tarun and he told me not to worry about this and there is no need to come in person. He also told that due to non-passing of the motion and also not removing the adhesive sticker on the back side of the back bone portion. He told that the sticker should be changed once in 3 days.

I answered that we changed at the interval of one week.

Dr Tarun told that due to this he got pain and prescribed one syrup 10 ml

to be taken once in a day for

motion problem and one tablet for stomach pain to be taken twice a day. Accordingly my brother took medicine and the pain reduced to a greater extent

and he passed motion this morning and feeling better.

Dr Tarun sent medicines names in what's app and it has really helped us in avoiding transportation and consulting expenses. Dr Tarun is a talented service minded doctor who never run after money.

My husband had a fall at home and we found from CT scan that he has chronic otomastoiditis. After researching in Google we consulted Dr. Sanjeev Mohanty. Doctor was super cool and confident so it gave us a feeling like we are in good hands. Later we heard from Dr Sanjeev the surgery was more complicated than he thought. It took 4-5 hrs to remove the granulation tissue and infection. Since doctor got my husband s consent only for endoscopic tympanotomy he did not do mastoidectomy though the condition was worse. After coming from OT Dr told me though the infection and tissue was a mess he was satisfied with the surgery. That gained me so much confidence and truly Dr.Sanjeev is an angel for us sent by God. Dr. Sanjeev is not only an expert, but also ethical in his profession. My husband was so happy that his facial nerve was not damaged. Dr clearly explained what the issue was after surgery and I am so much relieved that my husband's long term infection is gone and his hearing has improved. We are also planning to do nasal surgery which is the cause of ear infection. I highly recommend Dr.Sanjeev Mohanty for any ENT surgeries and consultation. He is the BEST surgeon in the city.
