Dr. Venkataraman Swaminathan, Orthopaedic Specialist, Apollo Hospitals OMR , Chennai, had successfully done the Total Hip Replacement Surgery for me at the critical situation when I was immovable with severe pain He was kind enough to take the time to explain the surgery and how it could work. I am very thankful to him and his dedicated physio team. His expert care and constant concern have quickened my recovery time.In addition to being an outstanding doctor, he is also a remarkable person.I appreciate his constant encouragement and caring spirit that has made me walk around with self- confidence.His expertise skill is most indispensable for many patients who suffer from joints and bone problems. Extremely unhappy with the doctor. He was totally unwilling to listen to our concerns and was more keen on prescribing a lot ** ******** diagnostic tests, and was more keen on admitting us. My husband had temperature of 99 (it was the 4th day or recurring fever but the fever was dropping) and I am in 8th month of pregnancy. We told him that we can't admit him at the earliest as I am alone at home, and asked his suggestion. But he refused point blank to even say a single word as he figured that we were not willing to get admitted. Never seen such a doctor in my entire life who is not willing to listen to the concerns of the patient.

I underwent Renal Biospy on 12th October 2017 and my reports were expected on 16th october but till 20th october 17 i did not get my reports. In between i did 4 emails to Dr and about 20- 25 calls to his secretary but no reply.

Now after writing to the guest relation department I got my report but who will prescribe me further medicine.

If Dr does not have time to go through the reports and prescribe timely medicine than whats the use.

I have spent 20000/- in this biospy but the service of Apollo has gone down.

I hope I will be prescribed timely medicine .

I had gone to consult with Dr. Usha Ayyagari at the recommendation of my general physician. I had taken thyroid tests and wanted her opinion. How much ever I was worried before , the session on the contrary went like a breeze. The doctor arrived early before her appointed time! She was very meticulous in listening and evaluating my case. She explained everything with patience and care. I somehow felt reassured and happy after getting my doubts cleared on the subject. She suggested a few lifestyle changes to help my case.

On a side note, my thyroid levels were completely normal and I did not require any medication to stabilize it further.

Overall, I would say, Dr. Usha 'LISTENED' to me patiently, never once lost her cool over my ridiculous panic-filled questions, answered every single question/doubt in detail with medical facts and made my visit , worthy and fulfilling.

I would definitely recommend her to anyone who might consider visiting her.
