He completed his MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College, followed by a postgraduate degree in Paediatrics from the Institute of Child Health, Madras Medical College, one of the premier institutions in India. Driven by a passion for child health, Dr. Thygarajan further pursued advanced training in the United Kingdom, focusing on neonatology, general paediatrics, and paediatric intensive care.
During his tenure in the UK, he worked across several reputed hospitals, successfully completing his MRCPCH and later being honoured with the Fellowship of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to paediatric medicine.
