I am overwhelmed to share our success story of my daughter who underwent an uterine artery embolization. Yes, my daughter had her c section, and was blessed with twins. Post delivery, on her 25th day she had a heavy bleeding which we misunderstood it as her maternity periods. The bleeding continued for the next day and her gynecologist Dr. Chitra requested for a MRI scan, later which she identified an abnormal bleeding from one of the uterine artery. Dr. Chitra immediately referred my daughter to Dr. Mohnish @ Gleneagles Global hospital. With no delay we rushed to hospital and from the time we entered the emergency ward and till her discharge day, we were treated so well by each and every staffs. Dr. Mohnish guided the team along with Dr. Anandu and gave my daughter the best care and comfort. Doctor made sure that we understood what the issue was and also suggested what should be done next. We waited for a day of observation and decided to undergo Uterine artery embolization, which was the only recovery option. The procedure went on well and at time of procedure my daughter was also able to interact with Dr. Mohnish and know how the procedure is being done.. Dr. Mohnish made sure he visited us twice a day and made sure my daughter is doing well on the medication and her health and clarified all her doubt then and there.. The level of service and comfort that all the staffs gave was amazing and we are so thankful for all the supports.
