Dr. M. Kumar graduated from Coimbatore Medical College, Coimbatore and…read more completed his postgraduate in pediatrics from the Institute of child health & hospital for children, Egmore Chennai.
He then joined as a consultant pediatrician at Vijaya hospital, Vadapalani Chennai in the department of pediatrics & neonatology under Dr. S.Jayam, the doyen of neonatology in the year 2000. He took in charge of level iii neonatal unit and simultaneously working as a consultant at S.P. Hospital Adambakkam, Chennai.
Subsequently, he did his super specialty course neonatology by diplomate of a national board at Vijaya hospital from 2007 – 2010 under the guidance of Dr.S.Jayam & Dr.J.Kumutha who is leading neonatologist and presently HOD department of neonatology institute of child health & hospital for children, Chennai. After heavenly abode of Dr. S.Jayam, he joined Sahisnatha trust founded by her as a senior consultant which is functioning at Madras medical mission, Mogappair, Chennai. He worked there until January 2014. He is national faculty for training doctors in neonatal advanced life support (nails).
