I was diagnosed with carcinoma of the right lateral tongue and had previously undergone radiation treatment. After shrinking the tumour, I was advised to undergo wide local excision with right lymph node removal (extended supraomohyoid neck dissection), and I chose to proceed under Dr. Kenny Robert’s guidance.
From my very first visit, Dr. Kenny Robert treated me with warmth, compassion, and respect. He patiently explained my diagnosis in detail, outlining why surgery was necessary even after radiation, and described every step of the procedure in a way I could easily understand. He also explained the possible risks and the expected recovery process, which gave me both clarity and courage to face the surgery.
On the day of the operation, his calm and reassuring approach helped ease my fears. The surgery was performed with utmost precision, and I woke up with minimal discomfort. The hospital stay was smooth. I was discharged the next day. Dr. Kenny Robert personally monitored my recovery, ensuring that my pain was managed, my wound healed well, and that I was able to return to my routine activities as soon as possible.
