Highly recommend Dr. Hema Mala for all Liver related Issues and consultations With ASO and CRP being high in my blood reports for the past 4 years which bothered me and swelling of legs, ankles and severe itching happened suddenly during Apr 2023. Consulted a gastro enterologist and updated him all the symptoms. he gave me allergic tablets for itching and the problems resurfaced again after a brief period.After Taking CT, frequent blood and urine tests couldn't figure out why CRP levels are high and doctors suggested about body reacting to some inflammation. Finally, A fibroscan revealed severe fibrosis of liver which made me panic and raised my anxiety and hypertension levels.Diagnosing the issue is with Liver and wrong suggestions by different specialists to  go on a Low sodium 2 Litre diet , which is a check point for me and it damaged my kidneys 3 days after.With no sleep, high anxiety and low BP,  Consulted Dr. Hema Mala by 28-Aug-2023 and she listened to me patiently and heard me completely. She mentioned this liver is not going to kill me and not to have water restrictions of 2L.Dr. Hema Mala asked me to consider weight reduction seriously with a trainer and consider it as an investment to better life changes and healthier life and not to panic about the liver issues.She mentioned weight reduction should be considered in a war footing basis with diet and exercise.She has gone through my walking history and suggested, walking alone will not help and suggested strength training and follow dietician option as well.I have followed her suggestions and my anxiety levels have come down in a week, joined a gym and workout with a trainer and started endurance training, strength training along with cardio exercises which is helping me immensely with weight loss. Highly recommend Dr. Hema Mala for all Liver related Issues and consultations.
