My Mom had difficulties even to walk last year and there were many sleepless nights because of severe leg pain. But now with the logical treatment given she is able to walk normally and recovered well.

Before visiting Dr. Shanmuga Sundaram, we have visited hospitals in Bangalore and in my native, but none were able to find the root cause.

Every other doctor was suggesting for the total knee replacement surgery, without even understanding what the real pain is.

I visited Dr. Sundaram at Adyar Ortho Clinic for treatment of pain in the Coccyx. The clinic is run professionally and appears neat and clean. I was able to meet the doctor within10 mins from the appointed time. Dr. Sundaram diagnosed the problem quickly and for confirmation asked for an X-ray. However, I would like to highlight one very questionable and unethical practice of prescribing many useless medicines from run-of-the mills pharmacy companies and then selling those medicines from the in-house pharmacy. ** ********** * ********* ** ** * ******* * * ****** ******** *********** *********** ***** ******* ******** ***************** ***** ***** ******** **************** *** ****** ***** **** ******** Except Intas Pharma, every other company appears questionable. \"Its god grace, my father get to know about Dr.Shanmuga Sundaram during his monthly visit to native place (mayiladuthurai) . Doctor used to visit there regularly to treat people in his native (don't able to see a doctor like him now a days) , my father also went there for fracture treatment , in mean time my mother also get fracture in right hand and leg. those was crucial days in my life . I have been suffering with pain in my right shoulder for the past 6 years. I have taken so many treatments (Allopathic, Ayurvedic and Homeopathy) for the pain management but it reoccurred always. Pain almost led me to depressed mode. I met the doctor at his clinic with prior appointment. He listened my problems patiently in no hurry and suggested an MRI (which i had done number of times previously) and the recommended same to one of the leading radiologist. The MRI report revealed a small tumour on my right scapula. Doctor suggested me a PET scan to make sure whether i have any other tumour which is causing pain and also to make sure whether the tumour is malignant or benign. Doctor was so much detailed and he wanted to make sure right diagnosis is done before starting the treatment. After the right diagnosis surgery was done. Relieved from pain and undergoing post operative treatment.

1. When I first presented my mother's MRI in her absence (he had not seen my mom) he immediately queried about her curved back. It shows his attention to detail. ********* **********

2. Doctor establishes a quick rapport with the patients. He made my mom feel very comfortable. My mom with her simple ways does not go by logical questioning. She simply goes by faith. Her faith was well established in her first visit.

3. He has a calm demeanor and takes time to determine the kind of tests required to rule out diseases and put her through right medication.

6. Mother is already on her way to recovery. When we came in she was even unable to get up from the bed. Its been a month the treatment started and she started getting up from the bed on her own during the first week. Slowly she is able to sit up for food and even for a chat with us.

Awesome experience . I had undergone knee replacement 3 years back and a fall and fractured the thigh bone close to knee replacement . I was operated by a different doctor with plate and screw which end up in failure. Then with much confusion with varying opinion I came to Dr shanmuga sundaram / Adyar Or tho Clinic .
