Dr. Priya Selvaraj, MD MNAMS MCE, a fertility specialist, clinician an…read mored embryologist, with more than 15 years of experience in the field of assisted reproduction, currently serves as the Assistant Director of G.G.Hospitals. She completed her Masters in Obstetrics and gynecology (MD) from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Porur, in the year 2000 along with a Diplomate National Board (MNAMS). Subsequently she underwent several training programs in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and related endoscopic surgery from National University hospital (NUH), Singapore as well as University of Kiel, Germany. In the year 2006, she obtained her Masters in Clinical Embryology (MCE) from the prestigious Jones institute of reproductive medicine, Eastern Virginia medical school, Norfolk, Virginia. She has been first as well as co-author for journal publications (national and international) as well as chapters in books on assisted reproduction. She has also presented research papers at an international level.She commissioned India’s first births of a singleton and twins born from frozen thawed oocytes by two different methods (slow freezing and vitrification) in the years 2008 and 2009. She also established a successful pre-implantation genetic screening and diagnosis program at GG, in association with Igenomix (Delhi) under the auspices of Prof. Carlos Simon, Igenomix, Spain.
