Dr.Nithyaa Ramamurthy is incredible. She is really a godsend to me. I went to her with a large fibroid and thrombosis. I was suffering with heavy bleeding and anaemia. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She is lovely to speak with at every appointment. Not only has she taken great care of my surgery but also to alleviate the pain during my recovery. She made sure that I had a smooth preparation, surgery and followup. Thanks to her team. I highly recommend becoming her patient. I am so glad i chose Dr.Nithyaa Ramamurthy and would recommend to anyone.

We have visited for IUD placement on 6th day of menstruation... but Doctor told she will do this procedure in 2nd day of period only... before visiting doctor we have clearly told to nurse that its 6th day and we came for IUD placement. Nobody was told this procedure should be only done on 2nd day.... They have charged 600 consultation and 100 for registration fees... However doctor Nithya was well experienced and she explained clearly... fortis malar should act to retain their reputation instead of charging consultation fees for nothing. If people are coming without awareness they should instrut property must educate their employees to treat everyone with respect!

Even the operation was taken good care. I did not have any difficulties. She took care of me like a mother. All the nurses were very helpful during my 3 days recovery in the hospital. Overall a good experience that I will remember.

The first issue which really irritated me was the presence of 4 extra people besides the doctor. Either they were trainee doctors who were getting experience or assistants. My objection is that, my health problems should be private and discussed only with the doctor. To make it worse there was man among this trainees. I have no issues with male gynaecologists but not when they are not main consultant but just a trainee.

If it was charitable institution and I am receiving free treatment, I can accept many things but not when I am paying a premium in a top rated hospital.

Dr. Nithyaa was polite and nice and obviously very competent and experienced. Though she was a wee bit pushy about selling women health checkup packages. The attendant was literally ticking off the tests but I refused to buy those packages.

So to sum it up, I need more privacy when I meet a doctor that too a gynaecologist since I am NOT comfortable about sharing my intimate health details with group of people who are not a panel of senior doctors.

Having said so, I have visited Fortis many times and in all the occasion the doctors were quite genuine and never pushed me for taking up multiple tests. Even Nithya is very experienced and competent. So I shall visit Fortis but not sure if I would consult Dr. Nithyaa Ramamurthy specially if her cabin is filled with extra people. I need complete privacy when I am discussing my health with a doctor..
