I am Abhilash and I am an heavy sports guy playing a heavy cricket, tennis and running, I have been facing knee pain for 3 years and every time I play I had a shake in my leg, I knew something was wrong, and with Physio I was able to manage well. One fine day while playing tannins I felt a twist and a extreme pain I can never explain and could not straighten my leg.

MRI indicated my ACL in left knee was torn , after a couple of opinions a doctor friend of mine referred me to Dr. ABG ( as his nick name ), he advised I should go for ACL reconstruction.

I took multiple opinions doctors indicate the same , but I was impressed with Dr. ABG's interpretation and he could understand what I need to get back to my routine sports activities. Like everyone I was initially nervous as I had a fear I could not do anything again post surgery, I trusted him and went through his advice.I also realised that Physio treatment can only do much and help only in minor injuries.

I was very much impressed by his analysis of the issue and he promised me I can "walk back home" made me stand on a brick with whole weight on my left leg, I was stunned, I could not do that even prior to my injury the other day, I have never seen this kind of confidence in my experience with Doctors given my fair share of accidents in sports.

I truly appreciate the Dr. ABG and his surgical team for doing a fantastic job and his kind words are very warming during consultation. I recommend Dr. ABG for any orthopaedic related cases and he is one of a kind.

I'm still in rehab now, given the amount of sports I play I can surely say my knee feels good and I see no issues to resume playing again.

I also advice patients to have strong will power to get back to normal which is something which comes from within and no medics can give treatment to that.

I am shiyamala.2 years back I met with an accident.and I have been taken to the near by hospital and that doctor said I have ankle fracture.so I have been put with pop band for one month.that time itself I said to the doctor I feel pain at the knee.he said that coz of ankle pain u feel the pain at knee.after that I started walking.i have checked with 2 other opinions.everyone said I am fine.

Then by this year starting when I was playing badminton at the same right leg twisted.again for 10 days I have been recommended with physiotherapy.then as usual I started walking and gym after 2 months.again same leg twisted.

So I took this seriously and felt some problem is there with my knee.so i took MRI.and the result was ACL near complete tear.my manager recommended Dr.ABG.i consulted with Dr.ABG.he said surgery is the only option.after a week of discussion with my family I decided to go for surgery.he is such a humble doctor.the way he explained the surgery gave me the confidence.the surgery was successful.i was under severe knee pain and cried.the next day itself Dr.ABG came to the ward and told me to get up.i was panic.he said u can.really I couldn't beleive still he made me to stand.he holded my hands and made me to walk and climb the stairs.what a doctor he is.no words to speak about him.after surgery I thought I will be going in wheelchair to home.but next day itself I started walking.he gave me the confidence back.tons of thanks to doctor ABG.

He asked appropriate questions to understand the issues and ordered for X-ray. Though he had to leave Office for other commitments, stayed back to see my X-rays to suggest treatment.

Very patient, friendly, humble for his stature and answered all my queries without any irritation as I was eating into his time.

No tests were ordered and he advised me not to go for scans unnecessarily and told me to meet him after 3 months. Only exercises were advised which he himself taught me and waited patiently till I got them right.

He is so approachable and makes u feel at ease throughout the consultation.

Was happy I met not only a good Doctor but a very good human being also.
