Be it known to one and all who is going through this write up on Dr Deepa Nathan, psychiatrist who had been treating my daughter at a hospital bangalore from 15/1/2016 to 5/3/2016 to bring to your knowledge certain good and positive things we know about her.my daughter was admitted as an inpatient in special ward,block A,room no 5 diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenia suffering for last 12 years without any improvement in sight .her were 1)fear,2)jealousy,3)hearing voices and violent behaviour,5)excessive sleep.While a team doctors were there attending to her from unit-5 both seniors juniors.Dr Deepa Nathan was also one of the team members was very active and personally monitoring counselling observing her condition throughout the day and even late hours of the night.Dr Deepa's personal visits in the hospital room was about 4 times a day.it was so cordial and friendly not o her visits also her talks made my daughter liking hand we both started waiting anxiously for each of her visits she would make to her room.slowly and gradually I started observing some changes in her behaviour and talks.she would make sure that she also gives me and my wife some counselling on how to deal with our daughter.financially me and my wife are retired and getting very small amount as pension it was getting very difficult in purchasing 4-5 tablets for the month which was very much expensive and beyond our monthly budget.she listened to our problems and undertanding told us I will prescribe for my daughter just 1 medicine (oleanz rt 20) total 30 tablets for the month which is very good one and very reasonable for us.for the last 2 years she is still on it and ais well with her.to be a doctor in psychiatry dealing with such difficult violent patients isn't an easy job.you need to be extraordinary person to handle these sort of cases and dr Deepa we found was one such doctor in that team having all the required qualities fit to be one such doctor.my daughter on admission to that hospital had multiple problems.a big thank you goes to our dear Dr Deepa who with her kind gentle and dedicated service made my daughter almost normal.my wife my daughter and myself keep always thinking and talking about Dr deepa. it was a blessing in disguise for all three of us to have you treating my daughter in that difficult moment.we all wish you with a long prosperous life.may you continue your dedicated service for all the needy patients whom you come across wherever you be.thank you very much for all that you've done for our daughter.god bless you and I would recommend her anyday for any psychiatry related problems.

I am suffering from panic attack, generalized anxietyanxiety disorder for the past 4 years, in my home town I was consulting a psychiatrist, he prescribed me some medicines to sleep and for depression, but while taking that medicines I was normal and able to handle everything if not taking means my problems will appear again. I was so frustrated and the medicine gave some side effects like hormonal imbalances too. The medicine is good but not suited for me, later I found Dr. Deepa in online and later consulted her, she advised me how to handle the situation, and prescribed me safer medicines, I am out of anxious feelings now. Now I'm without any meds

Went to Dr. Deepa Gopinath for a relationship issue with my female friend. She evaluated the history of my relationship and Identified the cause of the issue and also explained the reason of the current behaviour of my friend , in a constructive way. She cleared my many doubts and told me that I am on the clear side and pointed that also my friend is also trusting me a lot. , after she allayed many questions and also explained the male behaviour of mind when a misunderstanding with a female friend happens. Finally , her counselling Helped me a lot to uncover many answers to my mind grinding question and came out the clinic with full energy again. I lost my father few months back and I was down completely. I recovered partially in few months but his thoughts used to affect me. I chose Dr Deepa based on the feedback and I don't regret choosing her. Such a nice person who carefully listened and consoled for the loss. Made me to understand the situation and suggested me some techniques to come out of the grief. It was just one session that helped me significantly. Dr. Deepa’s interaction, approach, advices, therapies and motivation inspired our daughter to go back a healthy life where she is achieving everything. Dr. Deepa is the strength behind our daughter. Doctor says to our daughter that she is a winner. From our life we are seeing that Dr. Deepa’s consultation made our daughter a real winner in this life. I've struggled with frequent panic attacks, lack of sleep, various addictions/compulsions in the last 5 years of my life.

I've consulted with a couple of psychiatrists of good repute in the past. Neither of them possessed the ideal characteristics that I expected of a doctor in the field of mental health. One was impatient amd judgemental and the other purely arrogant!

To a good extent, choosing an ideal psychiatrist for yourself can be a hit and miss affair. This can be because everyone has different expectations of the psych, different personalities that can clash or click and different illnesses requiring a specific approach that some psychs may not have.

It's been a year since I've been consulting with Dr.Deepa. I must admit that she has been of great help so far. Whatever medication she has prescribed has worked well on me. She takes a lot of time to carefully listen to my concerns before she comes up with her suggestions. She is also very considerate of my feedback in between sessions. She is very reassuring in nature.

I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who's struggling with mental health. I'm very sure that Dr.Deepa will help many more like me in the future. Thanks a lot Deepa :)

Got Hope in my life. Previously, I had treatment from another Doctor from 1990 onwards, but she gave a -ve report on me after so many years of treatment.
