Came here not knowing what to expect. Got his referral from the internet. The one thing that convinced me that he could be the right Doctor was the ratings and reviews about him. The only criteria we wanted in a Doctor is his willingness to hear us out fully without being judgemental. Since the patient was a senior citizen, we were all the more sceptical about changing to a new doctor. All that vanished into thin air when we met the doctor for the first time. The doctor and staff were very friendly and approachable. The front desk staff picked up every single call that we made. The patient is showing wonderful progress under his care and guidance. We are extremely satisfied with this doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is out there that wants to be heard patiently. Kudos Doctor. YOU ARE GREAT!!!

I am a US Citizen in mid-50s who was in perfect physical health and enjoying a senior executive role when one night I just could not sleep followed by a 2nd sleepless night. Those two nights triggered an anxiety around "will I be able to sleep" and it spiraled out of control. After a month of torturous inability to sleep and coinciding with a India trip, I researched online and found Dr Arun.

Starting with the first call to Prasanth (Doctor's assistant) to every single interaction with the Doctor and his office, my experience was consistently superlative. Prasanth exemplifies professionalism and is thorough and prompt in his follow ups.

Dr Arun takes the time to understand the background and inspires confidence and trust with his demeanor. He made it clear from the first interaction that there is no magic pill and medication was only part of the solution. He helped identify the work I need to do consciously including mindfulness and meditation.

I am completely off medication after 6 months (and the dosage was minimal to begin with) and enjoying my previous quality of life.

I am so glad to have found Dr Arun and his expertise.

We were looking to go to a Doctor for mental health since my husband was having some negative thoughts and it started to get bad. It went to a point were our daily was very difficult and he could not be happy and started to doubt everything and anything and would avoid talking to everyone but for immediate family. We did know that it all started with work stress since we changed places and move to a new job but we were desperate for a solution. Finally after reading the reviews here (the main point why we are giving a review now) we called and booked an appointment. I appreciate Mr.Prasanth who understood the concern and gave us an time slot when someone cancelled. Although i had strong confidence, my husband was doubtful in the beginning. Dr.Arun did listen to both my husband and me in the first visit and he prescribed some medication to bring down the anxiety. Although there was improvement in the first week, there were some lows :( But after the 2nd visit - where the Dr gave an exercise - he did improve a lot. Dr.Arun said that he would be back to normal in 2-3 weeks and that gave us a LOT of confidence. Its been more than a month now and he is doing good. He is still taking his medicine and doing the exercise Dr gave, but we are a lot more positive!!! i do STRONGLY believe he will be completely recovered and be more open even after the prescriptions gets done. The other very good thing was that Dr.Arun is open to communication if there are any questions over phone/whatsapp (i believe Skype as well ) when he has the time. I am not sure what we would have done if we have not decided to go to him and i wouldn't want to even think that way - we were not at a very good phase in our life. We were lucky to approach him first and i would recommend Dr.Arun for Mental Health. You dont know that you are suffering until you are at the end of your breaking point - due to the lack of awareness and i wish/pray for anyone who are where we were a couple of months back to be given an opportunity to meet a Dr like Dr.Arun so that we all can be on the road to recovery and live a blissful life! Had visited for my fear, anxiety and depression. The first session i remember was that I started narrating the incident of why I was depressed and those bad experiences were haunting me for many years. All I wanted is to explain and ask for a solution. He did not listen , he stopped me before finishing and he was very judgemental and said that I am imagining things and blamed me, which was so rude and it was not the right thing to do. Whatever I had narrated was truth *** * ***** **** *** ***** ***** He gave me the writing exercise which did help me but not to a larger extent. In short I should say the doctor interrupts the patient and doesn't listen. His advice and solutions never help people. A psychiatrist or any doctor is meant to be calm and listen to their patients. This rude behaviour will never take you to heights Mr Arun . Some patients want to speak out and want the doctor to listen them and I'm one of them , I expected the doctor to give the right solution instead of blaming me and give unwanted advice and being arrogant. Very bad experience.

I came across many psychiatrists and many of them are accumulating patients their self by prescribing high and severe drugs which will make the patients to be very much dependent and couldn’t come out of it till their whole life. I was like the same till i visited AGAM clinic as i went through severe depression and anxiety for many years and right after my first appointment with Dr.Arun, i could evidently witness the changes myself within the span of a week time and the doctor is moreover like a friend and his motive is to rule out the issues with very minimal medications or without medications by changing the lifestyle like regulating sleeping pattern, meditation, exercise or walking which make one better with the minimal medications very effective. Even for chronic illness patients he follows the same pattern and Doctor is a great gift for the people like me. He inspires me and hopefully everyone too. I don’t have father but i see him like more of a father to me .he was a born fighter fought for his life from the very beginning of his life as, i read his life’s story which is on the AGAM website and i really admire him the way he handles and cares the patients. I was visiting a famous doctor in chennai prior visting Agam clinic but I couldn't see any improvement in my mental health and the condition kept on relapsing when I discontinue the medicines and the doctor is also not understanding and patient enough to provide solutions. Totally frustrated. Finally Approached Dr. Arun after reading lot of good reviews online. Agam clinic is very soothing and provides a good atmosphere and highly approachable. Dr is very patient and a good listener. Understands issues and explains dos and don’ts very clearly. Also he don’t tag us with mental illness rather he explains Realistically how to change ones lifestyle and to have control and courage on oneself to build our confidence and a positive personality. That’s the one everybody yearns for. Also he gave good counsellings on marriage and suggested books and exercises which was highly beneficial. He’s truly emphatic and kind so it’s easy to gel with him. I highly recommend visiting to this clinic for people looking for a healthy mind..

I visited Dr.Arunkumar for panic disorder problems. He was very patient in listening to my problems and prescribed with minimal medication. Also, he suggested other tools to overcome the problem.

I can see improvement in myself day by day and I'm visiting him periodically for review.

I went to this amazing clinic for my mother who was at her wits end, crying with heart pounding, heart palpitations with bouts of anxiety and depression. She felt like even suiciding at times. She had been taking

high dose medicines from different other doctors she had seen for the last 12 years but the severity of her conditions hadnt changed nor her health improved all this while.

At this juncture, Dr. Arun came in as a blessing in disguise with his good human nature and gentle approach in treating my mother after just taking medicines for few days and following few things he asked my mother we could see a lot of good improvement in her condition . She was happy and there was no more palpitations she had for the last 12 years which was the main cause of her worry. She's improving and getting better with each passing day. It wouldn't have been possible without Dr Arun.

Now my mother can live her life peacefully and we are more than happy to see her this way and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you doctor.

Dr Arun Kumar easily understands the core of the problem. He tries his level best to carry the treatment without medicines. The solution the doctor provides is after a in-depth analysis of our condition and it is easily understandable ,which inturn gives us a lot of clarity on how to go ahead. He also makes the family members understand the patients issue , which is the need of the hour for the one who is undergoing the trauma , that someone close to him understand his problem. It's been a positive journey with Agam to live a life with awareness.
