Having been wearing glasses from my early school days, I finally made my mind to undergo surgery in order to be free from spectacles. I met Dr. D.P.Prakash at Valasarawakkam and after the preliminary scans he confirmed me that the possibility of a lasik will not suit my eye and suggested an alternate method which is Implantable Contact Lens. The process was clearly explained by Doctor and without any hesitation I agreed to proceed.

Hence, I was given a small laser treatment in order to expand my iris for maintaining the fluid flow in my eyes. in the mean time lens was ordered by the Doctor and the same was received and the surgery was scheduled based on my convenience.

Upon negative RTPCR report, One eye was operated in a day post which I was called for consultation the following day. Once he felt that everything is okay with the operated eye he went on with the other eye.

The surgery time lasted for 20minutes. Doctor took utmost care and he ensured my comfort at all times during the surgery.

After wearing glasses for 24 years, finally I got rid from it due to American Eye Care Centre.

My vision is crystal clear now and I strongly recommend any patients who are looking for a lasik surgery to consult with American Eye Care before arriving at a decision.

I had Cataract Operation at American Eye Care Centre on 07-10-2021 at 3.00 PM. Dr.D.P.Prakash did the surgery. He did the surgery in 25 minutes and it was a pleasant experience. He made me comfortable throughout the operation.

While I entered the operation theatre yesterday an old lady, was sitting in the operation table. Just then operation was over for her. Dr.Prakash was congratulating her for her endurance and cooperation. He assured her that because of her cooperation, the lens fitted very well. She smiled and acknowledged. After my operation also Dr.Prakash makes few pleasant comments. But I found difference in the communication with me and that old lady. But sentiments are the same. Dr.Prakash makes everyone feel that he or she is his only valuable patient.

Dr.Prakash is supported by young and energetic para medical team. Today I was asked to come for check-up. The staff checked my eye sight. I read. I was ready to read even the last line in the Test board. The staff is about 20 years. She requested me not to proceed further. She said, “Reading last but one line is enough. It is called Human Vision. I have read up to Human Vision range. Now when I am ready to read the last line, I am supposed to have Eagle Vision. Even I will not be able to read Sir” she said.
