I was trained in a well established and world class recognized institute (PGI Chandigarh). My experience as pediatrician 10 years.I have been specialized in Pediatric Critical care (taking care of seriously ill babies) and was one of the faculty incharge of pediatric ICU in global hospital chennai for 3 years. Also trained in cardiology for 6 month in Apollo hospital, Chennai. Also worked as associate professor in pediatrics in Balaji and Tagore medical college and hospital.Paediatric ExperienceI have trained in Paediatrics over the last 8 years and have gained a wide range of experience to supplement my paediatric intensive care and neonatal skills.  Paediatric Intensive Care- I have 2 years of experience in paediatric intensive care. Transferable skills attained during this period included paediatric airway skills, placement of femoral lines, pic lines, and interosseous access. Currently working in Global hospital with12 bedded PICU, one of the leading paediatric liver transplant unit in India, totally done around 60 paediatric liver transplant including two day newborn, I have taken care of both acute and chronic liver failure patients requiring ICU care, and also taken care of post liver transplant cases, also our unit receives other sick case from various hospitals in and around Chennai. I have been handling with HFOV, nitric oxide and ECMO in the current hospital. Understand the principles of and initiate mechanical ventilation• Conventional ventilation (including Volume and Pressure support)• HFOV• CPAP, and BIPAP• Non-invasive ventilation-High flow• ECMO Skilled in basic and advanced paediatric practical procedures• Advanced Airway management• Endotracheal intubations-oral and nasal • Central venous access including Internal juglar & femoral lines• Intracranial pressure monitor insertion • Arterial lines• Lumbar punctures• Chest drain insertion-Pigtail & Routine• Abdominal paracentesis Neonatal Experience I am a trained in neonatology, with 6 months experience in neonatal ICU, 6 months in neonatal nursery.  Initiate and lead basic and advanced resuscitation when required including management of extreme premature infants (from 22 weeks gestation) Understand the principles of and initiate mechanical ventilation• Conventional ventilation (including Volume and Pressure support)• HFOV• Bubble, IFD CPAP, and BIPAP• Non-invasive ventilation-High flow Skilled in basic and advanced neonatal practical procedures• Advanced Airway management• Endotracheal intubations-oral, nasal and LMA• Central venous access including scalp & femoral lines• Arterial lines• Lumbar punctures• Chest drain insertion-Pigtail & Routine• Exchange transfusions-Peripheral, Arteriovenous, and Venovenous• Abdominal paracentesis Neonatal Cardiology- I have managed neonates with antenatally and postnatally diagnosed congenital cardiac disease.
