Dr. Nivedita Skin and Hair Clinic

This is M. Balasubramaniam, Master Mariner (seafarer). I took a consultation with Dr. Nivedita Raveendran hair and skin clinic with the complaints of hair loss, seborrheic dermatitis that I was suffering since last 3 years. I had visited various skin clinics and taken treatment in the form of tablets, serum, lotion and even hair growth procedures from a reputed trichology clinic being advertised on TV. But to my utter dismay I dint find any improvement and my hair fall worsened, the scalp itchiness and flakes did not reduce a bit. There were horrible nights when I combed my hair into the sink. Looking at the mirror and seeing my hair density reducing with hair shedding down with flakes was the worstest of my nightmares.

My wife told me to visit Dr. Nivedita as one of her friends had a positive feedback with her. I visited Dr. Nivedita’s clinic early June 2021 and she did a thorough scalp analysis and explained to me what my problem was and discussed with me about treatment for reducing/ keeping my flaking under control. Later, proceeded with hair regrowth treatment since I was very particular about getting my lost hair back. Underwent treatment for a month time before I left to sea by 1st week of July 2021.

I found Dr. Nivedita very systematic and confident in her approach. I started the treatment and could find a visible improvement during the 3 months when I was out at sea (was also given with oral supplements). My flaking completely stopped just after 2 weeks of treatment, No more itching scalp. My hair fall ceased drastically and I noticed my hair density has also increased and I could see new hair growth. Before the treatment I was counselled properly and pre and post pictures were taken each time. I felt very comfortable and happy with the entire process. The staff was also very cooperative. Special mention to Mrs.Kavita, a kind person who always responds to queries promptly.

After coming back from sea, visited the doctor and thanked her for the magic she has done with my hair. Now on a further schedule of treatment as per doctor’s advise. I feel a steady growth of healthy hair. Hoping to get my bouncy hair back :)

Visited Dr. Nivedita Raveendran's Clinic in Feb 2021 seeking consultation on my cystic acne and the scarring it leaves behind for the past 2 years. The wait time was seemly less than 30 mins and later was called in for the session. Dr. Nive asked me a series of questions and examined the affected area, she later explained me the condition for repeated acne and scaring and recommended a few options for treatment that I would feel comfortable in. As per request she altered the medication and provided me a routine to be followed from morning till night. It has been 7 months since I started following the routine religiously and my skin has become much clearer without any acne and the scaring has drastically faded. I found Dr. Nive on Instagram and I messaged to set up an appointment with her and she was very responsive. Got to know Dr. Nivedita through a friend and was initially hesitant as I had given up on my skin. But my friend insisted so I paid a visit. She quickly understood my concerns without having to explain much and scheduled the action plan. Despite my low threshold for pain, she was patient with me throughout the process. While after the first few sessions I personally couldn't notice a difference; the people around me noticed and eventually towards the end my scars reduced largely and I started to feel confident in my own skin.
