Visiting Dr. Rajdeep has been my most satisfying doctor visit till date. With consistent rectal bleeding for 6 days, I had consulted a 'supposedly renowned' gastroenterologist in Delhi (Apollo hospital, Sarita Vihar), at 6 times the consultation charges of what Dr Rajdeep charged. I returned more dissatisfied and worried, because a friend who had almost exactly the same symptoms as mine, had been diagnosed with rectal cancer just a month ago. He just gave me some medicine, and told me that I might have to go for a Colonoscopy, if the bleeding persists.

Fortunately, a visit to Chandigarh came up and I consulted Dr Rajdeep on 31st March. I arrived at the clinic in the morning, and in an hour, all my worries and concerns had faded away. I had the initial perception that doctors don't want to hear detailed stories, so I tried to be brief, but to my surprise, he asked me to explain everything in detail, and patiently listened to everything I had to say. Then he advised a sigmoidoscopy, which was done by him within the next half an hour. I was diagnosed with internal haemorrhoids. The way he explained the results to me in detail, the Do's and Dont's, timings of medicine was a remarkable display of professionalism and medical ethics I have ever come across. He made sure that I was satisfied and all my distress had gone.

When I was first diagnosed with Hepatitis B virus ,I thought that there would be no treatment and that the virus would damage my liver. I was in a lot of stress. But when I met Doctor Rajdeep he told me not to worry and explained to me about the available treatments. He advised me to do some further tests which I did and everything came out well. Fortunately no medicine was required as my hbv viral load was low. He also advised me to eat healthy and enjoy my life.
