This year, in 2025, I experienced a similar issue again, but this time it required surgical intervention. Naturally, I was extremely anxious and scared about the surgery.

Dr. Ahuja was incredibly calm and patient. He took the time to explain the entire procedure to me in detail, which helped ease my fears and gave me the confidence to go ahead with the surgery on 10th May. From the day I was admitted till the moment I was discharged, he ensured I was comfortable and well-informed.

What truly stood out was his personal involvement. He was constantly in touch with me—either directly or through his team—and at no point did I feel like I was alone in the hospital. It’s rare these days to find such compassionate and hands-on care, especially from doctors in high-end hospitals. Dr. Ahuja showed genuine warmth and concern, and his professionalism was matched by his humility.

His team, including Ravi, Aman, and a few other doctors (whose names I may have missed—my apologies), were equally supportive and kind. The entire process—from diagnosis to surgery to post-operative care—was smooth and reassuring.

After the stent placement, he continued to follow up on my recovery. When it was time for the stent removal, Dr. Ahuja again went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. He spoke to me throughout the procedure, keeping me engaged and distracted so well that I didn’t even realize when the stent was removed. His ability to understand a patient’s emotional needs, especially someone like me who is panicky and sensitive to pain, made a huge difference.
