Dr. Vinod Chandel

Dr. Vinod provided an excellent experience. After having had a previous experience that was not ideal, I was reluctant to find a new dentist that I could trust. Dr. Vinod Chandel is just GREAT! Easy to understand with great chair-side manner. Moreover, the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. Not always the case in medical offices but they all really make the experience excellent. In short, Dr. Vinod and the entire staff are caring and thoughtful. They always go above and beyond to make my visits comfortable and they took great care and pride to ensure I was well taken care of before and after my visit as well as happy with my end result. Dr Chandel and his team works with due diligence and makes sure that the job is neat and perfectly done. I have had Implants and crowns at Dr zChandels Clinic since 2007. There is no problem in any of the implants done by Dr Chandel He has Full mouth scan, dental scan and crown making facility in house. This is time saving and convenient.

My experiences here have been great here. Dr. Vinod Chandel is a great dentist. The staff are all super cool/friendly. I am soo lucky that Dr Vinod and The advance dental care dentistry has been my dentist form past 12 months.

They saved and still saving my teeth and, thus, my overall health. I arrived at my first appointment with wisdom tooth extraction(the oral surgery). Scary! But it went just fine.

I had done few fillings and 2 wisdom’s tooth extractions. Still more to go. But I know one things for sure one day I’ll walk from that clinic and all my teeth will be in perfect condition.

As per my physical and financial comfort we created a plan to treat my teeth as per need. Dr Vinod explained EVERY procedure and cost and presented alternative options. I asked questions, and his team answered.

Not one person in the office ever made me feel embarrassed about the state of my dental health or the rate I could afford to address the issues. When I had emergency dental needs, Dr Vinod and Clinic has always been there for me.

Horrible: We went for denture fixture for my mom. He first asked us the problem in which we explained our fears, apprehensions and bad experiences with other doctors. He just came to know of our weaknesses and took advantage.

Here's what went there:

Doctor asked about not coming previous day and being late on next day: I told my mom is scared as she has bad experience with other dentist here where denture did not fix in lower jaw and also I explained that it was because the lower jaw bone is gone/ weared now. He examined and confirmed that the jaw bones are weared so it will require an implant costing around 5L or 1.2L depending on our preference. Then he said he want to do a scan. They quickly did a scan. When i asked the reason for scan, he said he would need it for implant. But then i said I have not yet confirmed that i want an implant. He replied he did it to confirm if jaw bones are gone or not. I said other doctors confirmed it without a scan, and he said yes but we wanted to be sure. This unnecessary scan costed me additional 600 rupees.

Then i asked why 1.2 L if i go for screw implant, he said for upper and lower jaw. But i replied that other doctors are just saying lower bone is gone, why are you saying upper also, and he replied that ok then the cost will be 70K for lower jaw bone.

then finally i understood his mentality and thought of leaving. I gave him 900 Rs (300 consultation and 600 scan) and asked for file. They gave a file in which there was no scan report. I asked for that and they said we will e-mail yop. Is this something one should ask for?

I think my story explains everything and one should decide whether they want to visit him or not.

I had to get an implant done for my front tooth. The procedure went quite well and all my expectations were met or exceeded by Dr Chandel and his team. I also approached Dr. Chandel for zirconium based capping, he was very professional and quite gifted at his craft.

You can get a lot of insight about an individual’s integrity at the time of crisis, in my case the zirconium based crown fractured, Dr Chandel not only replaced the crown free of charge but also his approach to the whole issue was quite calm and his tone was calm and reassuring.

His timely updates and reminders about appointment are extremely helpful.

I don’t have anything negative to report but in the interest of keeping opinion balanced Dr. Chandel charges are bit on the higher side, but in my humble opinion they are justified.

I met with an accident 2 years ago, which caused a major damage to my teeth's it was a very painful time as after the accident I couldn't even brush properly as it was very painful. Therefore I started to seek treatment for my teeth's and hence I found "Advance Dental & Medical Care" the best as it has all the services available. I had my Gums Surgery, Root Canal treatment, teeth positioning treatment using a pair of braces. I am very satisfied with my treatment as it is now back to normal, its like nothing had ever happens to my teeth; Thanks to Dr. Vinod chandel who treated me as I am very happy with my treatment. I would recommended it to everyone who wish to seek the best dental treatment.

He quotes 2lacs for complete treatment ( I not expert in this so I can't say if that was actual cost or too high) but without even confirming from us he asked to for X-ray and they did X-ray in few seconds . Here are my concerns .

- doctor already quoted 2lac for complete treatment so 1) when he new about problem what was need of X-ray unless we agreed to go ahead with treatment. 2) if he was not sure about problem and wanted to be sure about actual issue how can he quote price. 3) shouldn't they ask for patent consent before going ahead with 800 INR X-ray

It's not about how much he charged and all , we are not going to be rich by 800 INR but it's more about moral ethics of being a doctor. They literally took few seconds for X-ray as if they new doctor they have to do it .

I would suggest you increase your consulting free to 1000 INR if that's what is running cost instead of covering it by unnecessary test etc.

I am a regular patient of Dr. Vinod Chandel for all my dental ailments from the last 8 years or so. At the time when I was facing acute multiple medical problems, I needed special care and sensitive handling for my gum and teeth ailments. I found Dr. Chandel an efficient knowledgeable and expert in this field. Dr. Chandel is patient friendly, soft spoken and has pleasing manners. He is very patient and has taken very good care of all my concerns all these years.

Being an army officer's wife, I had all other options for my treatment through ECHS. Yet his devotion and personal interest in my welfare, made me to repose my faith in his expertise. True to his profession, Dr. Chandel always delivers to more than my expectations.

His clinic is well equipped with all the latest gadgets including laser treatment hygienically. I wish Dr. Chandel and team all the best.

It is always a very satisfying experience to consult Dr Chandel.I have been treated by him ever since 2008.Thanks to his expertise and capable handling that my teeth at the age of 68 are in good condition.Besides the personal care ,the clinic is well maintained with the latest equipment and immaculate hygiene.He is available for addressing the dental concerns at any time ,even from overseas.He is our family dentist and we fully trust him for giving the sincere advice and the required treatment.He makes me smile better
