Bindra has been working relentlessly in the field of ophthalmology and providing his services to lakhs of patients. He is a seasoned surgeon having done more than 80 thousand surgeries and performs almost all types of the anterior segment and oculoplastic surgeries including phacoemulsification, LASIK and Refractive surgeries, Trabeculectomy, Entropion, Ectropion, Lid surgeries, etc. He has received in numerous felicitations from Rotary club, Arya samaj, Lions club, Bhopal Punjabi Samaj and National Program For control of Blindness. He also has been an active member of All India Ophthalmic Society, Delhi Ophthalmic Society, Madhya Pradesh State Ophthalmic Society and has delivered lectures in various institutes including Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre.
In 2014, he laid a foundation of Mata Shree Netralaya, which has all subspecialties under one roof. Mata Shree Netralaya in the last 2 years has screened more than 20 schools and day care centers, conducted camps on regular basis, has screened and provided information on glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, eye donation and eye transplantation.
