He is an alumnus of Raipur Medical College and National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. During his experience he has worked in various capacities at JLN Hospital and Research Center, Bhilai (Steel Authority of India Limited) which is a tertiary care hospital and is recognized nation wide for DNB teaching. He superannuated in July, 2018 as Unit Head of ENT and Jt. Director – Medical and Health Services of SAIL, Bhilai. He has also been actively involved in teaching of DNB students and as a guide to their thesis and academic work. His research papers have also been published in National and International journals.
