Ms. Sneha Bhat

I met Sneha madam with a very heavy heart and when I felt my life has come to a standstill. No idea about what do in life or where to go or how to go ahead. A loyal and obedient wife, but my husband demanded divorce. A double graduate from one of the prestigious University of India, but without job. Supportive but ageing parents couldn’t help them much. Sneha, heard me with empathy and provided a very different perspective into what I was going through and the circumstances that I am in. She analysed my situation with a surgical insight. Initially, this helped me realise few things. I, an impatient, wanted all solutions to my problems in one session. However, the deeper Sneha made me to get into my life events and my emotions, it only helped me to know the deep psychological scars that I was carrying from early childhood days. Once I understood them, I could entangle all the windings. Now, I have a meaningful spiritual, personal and professional life.

There are help and solutions always around, it's me who did not seek it before. It was you how offered helping hand, when I had no money to pay you. Although, I had read few books on human behaviour, its your healing words that made the difference. I had heard that there isn’t a cure for the disease of mind unlike that of body…However I must thank Ms. Sneha Bhat who showed me that the disorder of mind isn’t even a disease as mind is absolutely capable of overcoming it by itself. In our society consulting a psychology professional is a taboo out of the fear of being labelled as mad...?? We think 1000 times due to this perception firmly rooted in our own mind coming from societal perception. However, society doesn’t seem to realize that every mind needs certain disciplining & training. Our mind is absolutely capable of beautifying it’s life however we need to understand this capacity thoroughly. Otherwise the situation pressure would keep suppressing us at every stage of life.

In current lifestyle everyone is stressed. Specially women, who are managing the household responsibilities, shaping children, paying attention to husband’s needs in addition to her own work pressure from profession. Everything is expected out of her however the ways to fulfill this expectation is still unknown. How is she to become a good mother, a great wife, capable employee & most importantly how to retain her happiness which somehow is linked with all these aspects...?

If we are seeking answers to questions of this sort, a great counseling session is the best possible solution. I don’t know how to thank Dr. Sneha who helped me to bounce back with great resilience when I needed it the most. Even now, my mind wanders however I know that I am capable of listening to it & use everything it says constructively.

She is the most empathetic therapist i have ever seen. And excellent professional. Her help goes beyind the session by giving help in finding yoga retreats, links to meditation etc

As I started studying Transactional Analysis, I started noticing some issues in me, which required me to work with a therapist and I choose Sneha. The matter was deeply personal and no doubt required me to open up and be vulnerable. So, having a sensitive and a effective therpaist was an uncomprosing need. I am happy with my choice. Here go the reasons and outcome:

I had little abusive childhood and a rough relationship with parents. It was a very sensitive and deeply hurt part of my past. Sneha dealt this very well, without de-grading my parents. She explained and helped me to understand my nature and the difference in my parents' nature. At no point in time during therapy, she disrespected my parents behaviors, though she identified what were their shortcomings. This helped me to resolve the emotional entaglement with the parents and fulfill my needs and emotions in a healthy way. I have re-lived my childhood in this therapy(which ran for over 6 months) and re-decided, in a healthy way about difference with my parents and have moved on.

She identified my core nature and as I checked various areas of my life, I could relate as why I behaved in certain ways, why I picked up/dropped a career, a hobby, a relation to as small as what kind of movies I watch, what kind books I read, public figures I follow, and so-on and so-forth. She didnt' teach me how to behave. Rather,she repeatedly put all her efforts in helping me realize whats my nature and guided me to look into it and live accordingly. Because, at the end of the day, that would give me contentment, guidance for anything: choosing a career, choosing a relationship, responding to a situation, you name it... I dropped comparing myself with others. This is another outcome of working with her.

She practices what she talks about and she has internalized the knowledge on the thoughts, emotions and behavior. As I am studying TA(Transactional Analysis), often, I discussed with her on these and she has all of it on the tip of her tounge and she has explained with practical examples on many concepts. This has helped me understand TA in more depth.

What amazes me about her is

1. Her extra-ordinary listening skills(almost all of the feedbacks here has this as the common point).

2. Her ability to assess a person's needs, characters, life positions(as in TA), when you describe about someone. *** **** ** **** ***** *********

She pointed out the misdeeds of mine, whereever required, but, with compassion and I could literally feel it. It didn't hurt/humiliate me, but, conveyed the message. Just for the sake of keeping me as her client, she didn't compromise on the therapy.

She has the 3 Ps of a good therapist: She has POTENCY******* ********** ******** ***********, she provided PROTECTION(from that inner criticizing voice, which kept me beating), and she gave the PERMISSION(to go with my nature and what suited me, in a healthy way).

No wonder why she is 100% feedback rating! And I keep wondering - why charges so less!

Sneha is an extremely understanding person and helped me gauge the problem that I was grappling with, which was mainly episodic depression. Before seeing her, I had visited a couple of other therapists, however, the experience did not turn out so well. But with her, I felt like the sessions went on very seamlessly.

In addition to patiently listening to me, she was also able to analyse my situation in the most effective manner and would come up with solutions that helped me a lot. Prior to seeking therapy, I was going through issues with my personal life that inadvertently affected my work life, thus making it extremely difficult to sustain. But post-therapy, I do feel a certain vigour and contentment in my life that was once lacking and I am more equipped to handle any emotionally challenging situation.

To everybody who has a second thought about counselling and mental health, do not ignore it and do seek help as and when required. Trust me, it can change your life. It changed mine, for the better.

My reasons:(is a little long, but worth reading before going there)

Like everyone else who googles to find out, who is the best therapist available, I also did the same. First three sessions went well. The fourth session I had to cancel before couple of hours ,due to a sudden travel plan. When I called her, she was not very much in acceptance with me cancelling and tried to emotionally convince saying “you are not this kind of person who cancels at the last minute , what happened to you “. Finally she cancelled and I took an appointment for some other day.

The other day, I thought of participating the session over a video call at 2.30 pm . I informed her at 2.15 over a message that I am ok for a video session. I got no response I called her up right from 2.30 till 3, she didn’t answer and didn’t have the courtesy to call back. Again I called at 3.15 and she started yelling at me. Saying, i didn’t tell her in advance about this being a video session and she blamed me for not knowing she won’t be having phone access etc. which is not true. During a session with me she had called up a client who is next, to know whether he/she is coming. For me the session didnot happen and for her to stop Yelling and emotionally attack me , I said everything is my mistake and I sent her money for that session which did not happen. I have known Miss Sneha since last 16 years and she deserves serious consideration in the area of Psychotherapy and Counselling. She has worked in various reputed organizations and comes with rich experience in management and having commendable leadership skills. Sneha has an amazing & secret antidote to unleash the human creativity through calibration methods she adopts during her workshop. Which gives each member a deeper understanding of concepts and techniques, which are made easy to practice daily by each individual. Many in the workshop are remarkably enlightened not only on work front but also at personal level. Her workshops are a path worth taking to absorb its content at an experiential level. I would highly recommend that organizations and individual should utilize Sneha’s expertise in their professional space.

Being diagnosied with a chronic disease, I was disturbed mentally. I had a fear about what disease can do to me. I needed to control my emotion and overcome the fear. hence I had to have an appointment with counsellor.

I explained my problem to the Doctor and I was suggested some changes and given small tasks to be performed daily.

I was surprised that these suggestions and my involvement in tasks comepletly changed me to be more positive and focussed and get on with the day to day life without worrying about any chronic disorders I have.

Instead, she has a systematic approach of making you talk freely and drawing insights from your own mind. She listens very carefully and draws very accurate insights. She even gives you the freedom to correct her if she understood wrong. She's following a process like a professional. I was amazed at how many insights she could extract within an hour. Unlike the other so called therapists, she doesn't impose opinions. Very few psychologists in India like her. If you are serious about getting a solution I would strongly recommend going to her. 

I met her at a time when I lost all hope in life, when I thought I have nothing left to live for. My friend forced me to go to her, I have been to other therapists and didn't like them at all, I went with a predujuced mind that this session also won't help me. But I was wrong. Meeting her was the best decision I ever made in my life. I think I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for Sneha, she is helping me build my core, my true self.
