Dr. Sneha Shah changed our lives through her timely, compassionate, and professional help during my wife's labor period; here is the background. Dr. Sneha practices at our Ob-Gyn's clinic, and we visited her only once after a regular Ob-Gyn checkup during the early day's of my wife's pregnancy. We had a fruitful session with her about exercises related to labor and natural birthing. We did not follow up with her later due to travel issues and, to be honest, a bit of overconfidence about the child-birth process. Come labor day, my wife was writhing in pain at the hospital which at some point peaked and insidiously clouded my wife's desire and determination to give a natural birth. No amount of convincing from my side helped, and we were at our wit's end. Dr. Sneha then arrived unannounced only because she came to know about my wife's status from our Ob-Gyn and was personally interested in helping my wife during her labor. At this point my wife's dilation measure was a mere 2.5 cm. Dr. Sneha patiently talked to my wife, motivated her to move, breathe, and take control of the situation. She switched off the lights, which had a tremendous impact, setup a nice non-hospital-like ambiance and slowly made my wife do pelvic exercises with focused breathing. Amazingly, my wife regained composure and started channeling her pain positively; in Dr. Sneha's words "every contraction is bringing our beautiful baby out little by little". Dr. Sneha shared my wife's steadfastness about natural birth, and together they worked very efficiently to bring the dilation measure to 8.5 cm in a span of 3 hours. The nurses and the duty doctors were surprised by the progress. Dr. Sneha offered to stay even after my wife was taken into the labor room. We were blessed with a healthy baby via natural delivery and are grateful to Dr. Sneha forever. She is kind, compassionate, and a great advocate of natural birthing. We hope and pray that she will be able to positively impact many other lives in the days to come.

It has been an absolute pleasure to interact with Dr. Sneha Shah in regards to Child Birth Education. As a first time mom to be, I wasn’t really sure what to expect during the journey to motherhood.

Dr. Shah not only explained the physically changing aspects and requirements but also dealt with the emotional side of it. Her guidance and assistance helped me in a natural birth with minimum to no usage of drugs and birth of our healthy bundle of joy.

I would highly recommend her not only for her skill set but also her ability to ease the emotional journey.
