Very glad to share my weight loss journey. During the lockdown, I did a very valuable thing that is weight loss. Within 4 months I lost 12 kgs, from 78 to 66.
Well, it all started with poor eating habits, stress, and irregular sleeping periods. I felt I put on some extra pounds, I can see in the mirror, my clothes don’t fit anymore and I started feeling tired very often. These irregular habits led to acidity and bloating issues.
I was on the lookout for an able dietician who could understand my issues and suggest a suitable diet, So searched for a good dietician in Bangalore, luckily found Remya, I booked an appointment and had the first meeting with her over WhatsApp, During the first meeting itself she was very positive and told that all my issues can be solved by her diet plans with proper dedication & effort from my side and I felt my decision was 100% correct.
An empathetic listener Remya took notes of all my eating and sleeping habits and was positive that my health condition can be back to normal with small changes. I opted for a 3-month nutrition program. When I received the diet chart, I realized that I have to stop almost90% of my regular foods which we think is normal south Indian food.
However, the diet chart is not challenging at all. She prepared the chart which suits my taste, easy to prepare, and more importantly with more nutrients. Dt Remya made me shift my mindset completely about food. It was a positive lifestyle change for me that came very easily. Her advice was just not food-related but about small lifestyle changes.
As of now, I have lost around12Kgs in 4 months, and extended my diet plan, need to reduce a few more kgs, hope I will achieve it soon.
My stomach became healthy again, no more acidity and bloating issues back to normal.
In between took a 20days break due to a family emergency otherwise, I would have lost 2 more kgs extra, she motivated me then I got back on track.
I have to say, Dt. Remya is one of the most important person I met in my life. Because she changed the way I think of food, she changed my lifestyle.
Dt. Remya is very knowledgeable and experienced to quickly read her client's health conditions.
Taught me so many things about healthy eating which I can share with my family and friends.

Hairfall can give u stress and that stress can again give you hairfall. I was going through that kind of a situation few months earlier. I tried doctor, medicine and even treatments and it was good but it wasn't possible for me to continue it for everymonth so as a result I felt like all the good things started to reversed back. And luckily through one of my good friend's reference I consulted Dt.Remya. She gave me an idea of how lack of nutrition can lead to hairfall. She guided me to correct my diet routine , suggested a external hair care regime and also gave me few required organic food supplements coz being single and living alone outside its quite difficult for me to eat all the required food items everyday and also this fast lifestyle is a factor. I am extremely happy under the care of Dt Remya.
I have joined her program with the goals of not just weight loss but over all well being by addressing side effects of long term medications that I am on.
She is an excellent nutritionist and a wonderful human being. I have recently joined her program a month ago and already lost 1-2 kilos approximately in the first detox plan itself. There is a significant change in my energy level and health. Importantly, I am in last phase of weight loss when I joined her where in weight loss becomes slow and for months it remained at plateau.

I have history of PCOS,Insulin resistance and hypothyroidism all are inter connected.
For several years being on medication for these dysfunctions I have developed multiple side effects like hair loss due to vitamin deficiency,gut imbalances,mood swings ,extreme fatigue ( this as affecting the quality of my life both at home and workplace),iron and B12 deficiency due to long term harmonal medications that doctors kept me upon.

Every year, new year resolution used to be to achieve weight loss by 5 kg at the year end. I have hypothyroidism since 2015. And my diet wasn't organized and was gaining weight. And then I got an opportunity to discuss with Dr Remya. She advised me on the diet . Also she asked me to avoid certain food. As I am working mom, it was difficult to bring all the changes what she told. But I tried to make some changes . From last many years I had a Knee pain, Calf Pain which was not reducing even after taking multiple treatment.
Due to this it was difficult for me to do continuous daily standing works, clibbing stairs, travelling outside for longer time etc.

We started consulting Remya in the midst of the lockdown for my husband who needed to reduce weight,his thyroid and lipid levels. She was extremely friendly,did a detailed analysis of our lifestyle and food habits. I consulted Dt.Remya a few months back for my allergy. The best part about her is she gives enough time and listens to all your concerns and understand your lifestyle before she plans out anything for you. In my case, Remya planned out a one month elimination diet to figure out what’s causing the allergy and must say that she went out of her way by checking on me every single day and helping me out throughout the process.

She treated my issue so well because she was patient enough to hear me out. She explained me why was putting on weight and why I was having a hair fall which was my main issue. She gave me some simple supplements and within less than 3 months my hair started growing bk. She further places me on a cleanse diet which helped my body better absorb the vitamins and supplements as I was hospitalized due to an infection and was kept on intravenous. All the hair that I list stared coming back and soon I gained my strength back to start my workouts again.
