Ms. Ranjani Raman is a Dietitian, Child Nutritionist, and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She is also certified by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for lectureship all over India and holds a life membership in the Indian Dietetic Association. I approached Ranjani and the team at nutrition tattva sometime in December 2019. I needed some help to start healthy eating, balance nutrition and attain weight loss in the process. Only when I started the plan I realized it is much more than just eating and losing weight. I am with Nutition Tattva for a year now and I was introduced to concepts of portion control, balancing quality and quantity of food and nutrition. Initially I struggled to get used to the plan but that became easy when I started seeing results. I became comfortable and started enjoying the same. I have tried numerous weight loss programmes such as Atkins, Keto and followed YouTube videos on weight loss. None of them were sustainable on a long run as even with minor deviations, I would gain back the lost weight in no time and I was never able to continue it more than three months.
With hypothyroidism, my weight loss target was only a dream until I came across Nutrition Tattva. I have lost over 11kgs after 12 weeks of Ranjani's nutritional plan and I am now within the healthy BMI range. Over those 12 weeks Ranjani and her team were always available to answer my queries and constantly motivating me, despite the difference in our time zones. The nutritional plan is based on items / ingredients that are available in every Indian kitchen and majority of them are what was already part of my regular diet. The plan is balanced in terms of nutrition and with lots of varieties that you don't get bored of repetition. The team also checked with me on the items that do and don't suit me before preparing the fortnightly customised nutritional plan.
I have now learnt to choose foods that are not only healthy but also that suit my digestive system and help in my well being. Also the number of instances of migraine attacks have drastically reduced since I started with the nutritional plan. I am very happy with the results after following the three months medical nutrition therapy under the guidance of Ranjini ma'am and her team. I have not only lost 7 kgs of weight but also learnt a lot about healthy eating habits and nutrition. The diet plans are also easy to follow as it includes local dishes that we normally prepare at home, and it is updated every two weeks and there are follow up calls every 4 weeks. It has been a super fruitful last few months working with Dt. Ranjani. I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking to get their nutrition habits in shape for the long term.
I started working with her on my nutrition habits early in December 2019 (I was 93kgs then). Right at the start, we spent a couple of sessions (one session with my wife and I as well) going over the fundamentals around nutrition and some basic guardrails that would be helpful. I wish I had learnt those things earlier in life. Those guardrails help me to this day. The meal plans shared every couple of weeks were sustainable and customised to my schedule which I really liked vs following a diet crash course or something else. She was always available to answer any questions or to accommodate any changes e.g. travel dates etc into the plan. Overall, I found the last few months to be super effective, sustainable and focused on habit formation for the long term. I was 97kgs in Jan 2019. 93 Kgs when I started work with Ranjani in Dec 2019. I'm currently at 79.5kgs and my aim is to get to 75 which I'm confident now I will get to by just sticking to the new habits formed.

I have been following up with my Endocrinologist regularly for my thyroid issue. My Endocrinologist was very specific about my food habits and healthy lifestyle. As i am working night shift permanently, i was finding it very difficult to concentrate on healthy lifestyle. So, i decided to meet a Nutritionist who can educate me about Healthy Lifestyle and of course to lose some extra kilos. This is where the magic happened and I met Ranjani Raman few months ago. I was very doubtful whether I will lose weight because I have been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. I took basic 3 months plan. When I started with my Nutrition Program with Ranjani I was weighing 89 kg. The Nutrition Chart was very easy to follow. I am Latha . 47 years old. Before I met Ranjini Raman I had done all circus to lose weight & I thought that eating less food is diet. After consulting Ranjini at Nutrition tattva she explained me lot of things & misconceptions I had about diet & weight loss. When I saw diet chart I thought How can I lose weight eating all these things ? I was really surprised ! Totally I lost 11kgs (85 to 74) in three months. The diet plan was very easy to follow.
