Ms. Shilpa Nagaraj

Shilpa Nagaraj is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and has pursued MPhil and MSc in Clinical Psychology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka.Her experience in the field involves providing evidence-based psychological interventions including CBT, Behavioral therapy, DBT, Mindfulness based therapy, play therapy, Acceptence and commitment therapy (ACT), to children and adults. Shilpa is also experienced in dealing with a wide range of clinical presentation such as mood and anxiety spectrum disorders, addiction and personality disorders. Her special interest lies in working with children or adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems, neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism spectrum disorders (ASD), Attention deficit Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning and intellectual disability. In addition to carrying out various Psychological assessments (IQ, personality and neuropsychological profiling). Shilpa has acquired specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Play Therapy, Grief therapy, Interpersonal psychotherapy, Qualitative research and Cardiac depression. She has also worked with corporate organizations in alleviating Stress. She has carried out promising research in the fields of Pediatric Post-operative pain, Road rage and Empathy. Driven by curiosity and gratitude, she is committed to individual patient care and she is working towards providing mental health care of highest standards.
