Ms. Rachna Muralidhar has completed Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology from SARS, Secunderabad. Rachna is very honest, kind, compassionate, and patient. I found myself struggling with constant self-criticism, lack of confidence, and mind/emotional control and she really helped me understand what the root of these are. She helped me break through mental barriers and helped me discover ways to see my problems with a fresh perspective. Most often this perspective showed that the problems weren't necessarily problems, but normal ups and downs of daily life. Through conversations with Rachna, I was able to learn how to better calm my inner critic, control my emotions, and also to understand, listen to, and be loving to myself and others in my life. Ms. Rachna is an extremely compassionate, kind, patient, friendly, caring and funny person. She had always patiently listened to what I have to say and has always approached to my problems with a sense of practicality. Her session made me realised that the choice to yield to any negative thought has always been in my hand, through which I have improved a lot in approaching my problems with more practicality. Through her guidance I am able to know myself better than before. Her support and guidance has been with me constantly even beyond the regular session (Through emails, messages) and is readily available to guide and help without any hesitation if required. I have always found a sense of relief and a feeling of being mentally safe under her guidance. She has always made sure that my session don't get delayed under any circumstances. Ms. Rachna Muralidhar has been extremely diligent in helping me out with my depression, anxiety and mild OCD. I was coping with depression past 3-4 months along with erratic spells of anxiety and mild OCD. When I first approached her, I was a little hesitant(this was the first time I was visiting a Psychologist), however, after having a chat for few minutes, I could make up my mind to speak with her without fear of being judged. She was patient to hear me completely and assisted me through some innovative steps to overcome my fear and anxiety. I would like to appreciate her systematic yet emphatic approach towards understanding and providing guidance to overpower my depression. She never interrupted me when I spoke(at times diverging off the topic) and encouraged me to introspect the situations and consequences irrespective of their nature. My perspective towards certain notions were changed after having a conversation with her. She was instrumental in helping me to self-motivate and accept changes. She helped me learn that- It is better to live in an alternate reality than within an alternate figment of imagination.

I (husband) went to the doctor and she was friendly and listened patiently. However, the solutions offered by Doctor were not soothing - Try, everything is an experiment. Not a good suggestion. Unless both are willing, nothing can be done. Here, one must understand that if someone under stress decides to visit the doctor, he has hopes that doctor would recommend various solutions from past experience. Although, my partner was not present but solutions offered did not help in relieving me from stress. All the efforts to visit doctor (booking cabs, my time, cost) went in vain.

The session went great. For follow up questions I was given the e- mail ID to be able to discuss the different behavioral symptoms as I was going out of country.
None of the emails were returned, does give a feeling of let down.
Follow up could be improved. Will definitely be difficult for NRI's.

Ms. Rachna is efficient and she knows what she is doing. When you go for therapy, you need a person who is not at all judgemental, like Rachna. You can share all your concerns without feeling bad, she listens to you patiently and reassures that it is okay to feel so sometimes. She analyses your personality and behaviour and suggests how can you modify it for your own good. You feel like you are not alone and sometimes that's just what you need. She is the best I have seen. 👍

I have been going through therapy with Ms. Rachna Muralidhar and found her very capable in providing direction and suggesting strategy to deal with the complex mess inside my mind. Not only she gave me insights about my issues but her unique approach utilising acceptance and commitment thinking has become a part of my thinking process and now I can handle new situations with much greater ease. She taught me how to make habits for example, I am writing daily journal from 2 months now. She also is very confrontational i.e. she will make you realise the truth with her intelligent questions.

I visited Rachna in March 2019 while I was going through a tough mental phase with no drive or interest, confused state of mind, low energy, fear, negativity and other issues including lack of sleep and less appetite. I was diagnosed for recurrent depression disorder. I went through regular counselling session for 3 months ( started weekly once and then the frequency of visits reduced gradually). Rachna was more of a friend during all these sessions and helped me get over most of my mind issues through a very simplistic approach . I thank Rachna for helping me navigate through this phase and guiding me to come out more stronger to put my life back on track.
