Varmam:
Varmam are the points where life force resides and flows in the human body. The Divine Art of Varmam is used by stimulating varmam points to cure diseases. This method of stimulation of varmam points by regulating the proper functioning of subtle air in them is referred to as varmam healing or stimulation of varmam air.
Acupuncture:
It is a system of traditional medicine in which fine needles are inserted in the skin at specific points along what are considered to be lines of energy (meridians), used in the treatment of various physical and mental conditions. It can be combined with the burning of moxa, a herb, and/or cupping. The needles, moxa and cupping influence the balance and flow of energy, in the patient and assist in regaining and maintaining health.
