She's trained in DIR floortime model for engagement skills in children diagnosed with autism and related disorder. She is certified in Neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT)approach for management of children with Cerebral Palsy, Neurological disorders, and other motor delays. My son has been undergoing treatment for CP - Spastic diplegia for almost 4 years. We changed couple of centers due to various reasons and issues but definitely it was not easy to find a centre that was satisfying. Though we have seen the gradual progress in him, somewhere our confidence was shaking a little. My child's trunk was weaker and postures were not corrected - he was not even trained to basic reach out using the trunk muscles - all that would happen in the earlier therapy was mainly stretch stretch and only stretch. When the therapy sessions became quite irregular in the old centre we were forced to look for a new centre and thats when we came across Dr. Nishi and her centre Labyrinth. Her approach and sessions were quite different when compared to the previous ones and we were quite impressed with her in the first interaction itself - so decided to start our therapy from her. She works in multiple dimensions like dis-association, stability, posture, mobility and she concentrates on overall development of the child and gives importance to every minute stuff including making him independent. She also explains importance and need of particular exercise which made me all the more aware of muscle usages in different postures, this indirectly helps me handle my son better at home.
She is very approachable, friendly and so much loving with the kids that my son was comfortable with her in the first session itself. Another good part is way therapy room is arranged - loaded with different kinds of toys, kids are also pampered to the needed extent and strict whenever necessary to ensure children under go therapy playfully which definitely reduces the stress. Here I should give a part of the credit my son also who is a happy child by nature. We started going to her since March 2016 and my son underwent Botox treatment end of March and she planned the sessions very regularly to ensure he gets the right amount of therapy for quicker improvement and best use of botox treatment. It worked very well and I can confidently say the right therapy is the backbone of CP children and with in 3.5 months I have definitely noticed drastic improvement in my son. I realized my son did have more potential but due to lack of right therapy his progress was curtailed. We are pretty much satisfied with Nishi's thearapy and I would suggest all the parents to keep a watch on the quality and regularity of therapy as losing time is the most painful thing in these children. As she has expertise in sensory as well as fine motor skills - in parallel with gross motor skills, even fine motor and sensory issues are treated based on the needed - this helps me get everything I needed under one roof as its really tough to run around to different places specially in a crowded place like Bangalore.
Overall I am happy with the therapy and progress my son has had at Dr. Nishi's Centre. I would confidently recommend Dr. Nishi and her centre Labyrinth for any one looking for a quality therapy for their child. However, please do remember the overall development of the child depends on the child itself, qualify of the therapy, treatment from the doctors and also the precaution taken by parents at home - even if one of them has problem, the pace of improvement reduces. We need to be watchful constantly in all these dimensions to ensure our child is getting the needed support for better progress.
We went to Dr Nishi for my son's PT as advised by Dr Sampath. He was born premature with very low birth weight and was not walking independently at 2 yrs. and had foot ankle bending inwards severely. His balance improved within weeks of treatment and he was given muscle strength therapy for back and abs to start with. Soon after he was given leg muscle exercises which helped him start walking on his own within few months. Dr Nishi and her team were patient and diligently planned the treatment path including different types of exercise forms and ensured we were aware of even small changes during the course. They prescribed exercise routine at home and helped by reviewing videos consistently. They were extremely friendly and heard and answered all our queries. We would love to endorse Dr Nishi, Dr Sanchita and her entire team for utmost professionalism and strong expertise in pediatric physiotherapy!. Our twins sons loved meeting the entire staff and enjoyed the positive vibes thoroughly!
We have been taking my daughter to Dr Nishi Agarwal for 2.5 years. She has developmental delay and was walking on her toes and crouching. Initially Dr.Nishi took her assessment and told us what all corrections to be done for the child, like from dynamic AFO to AFO . She is in contact with the prosthetic people and informs them how she needs the AFO's to be made which is as per the child's need. She also told us the amount of effort which is required from our end along with the physiotherapy sessions.
Initially it took sometime for my daughter to get adjusted. She has never cried in the physiotherapy sessions here. Dr Nishi and her team take step by step approach. They perform activities required for the particular muscle and move on to next set of exercises once that has achieved. Along with that they provide home exercises also, which we need to follow promptly to see the result on our child. We were advised to put AFO whole night along with gaitors. Now we can see that her crouching has improved significantly and also her toe walking has reduced.
She concentrates at minute level and works towards it. Posture correction is also given equal importance. She is very knowledgeable in the subject and she explains what is right and wrong for the child. Periodic assessments are done and she discusses with child's parents on the progress and what she will be working for next few months. She along with Sanchitha and her team (Divya and Navya) are doing really great to help our child's progress. I really thank the whole team for their continuous effort.
Hi, i have been seeing Doctors for the past 20 months for my daughter's physiotherapy who is now 2 years old. I was referred to her by a leading developmental pediatrician in Bangalore.
I decided to go with Labyrinth for my daughters Physiotherapy ( she has hypotonia and global developmental delay) as I was quite happy with the first assessment and consultation. Doctor sounded confident, very professional *** ***** ************* ** *** ******. She very patiently explained to us the support my baby needed, their role as well as ours as parents in helping her.
With the constant support of Labyrinth team, regular home programs and physiotherapy, my daughter is now walking independently, started running and will be discharged quite soon.
The team here at Labyrinth show such personal involvement with my daughter, they are caring as well as disciplined when needed and have helpedy in more ways than one, from coping up emotionally to patiently guiding both my daughter and I to carry out a successful home therapy. They have been quite sensitive to our personal constraints and have made adjustments to therapy frequency and timings whenever possible.
Regular DASI1 assessments were done to assess the progress and chart goals for therapy. That gave us a sense of direction. The lead pead physiotherapist has also been working on my daughters sensory issues and gives valuable advice and feedback quite regularly.
Doctors here collaborate with the leading orthopedicians and neurologists in Bangalore and my daughters neurologist recommend them as well which added to our confidence.
I hope this feedback helps parents who are struggling to find a good physiotherapist for their child

My son has Down Syndrome and is 14 months now. We started his physiotherapy with Dr Nishi six months back. He has shown good progress in terms of sitting independently, improved hip stability and improved hand eye coordination. We have found Dr Nishi to be very professional in her approach. She takes time out to explain the Dos’ and Donts’ to be followed by us at home so as to help in the progress of our child’s development. I found these explanations very logical and helpful. The clinic is well maintained and spacious. The general ambience of the clinic is also very child friendly with lots of playthings which help the child in cognitive development. The entire staff is also well qualified and professional.
Dr. Nishi has been seeing our son for past four years and our son has shown remarkable progress under her. A thorough professional , she improvises the exercise technique and explains the importance and need of a particular exercise so that the child can perform to the best his ability .She works on multiple aspects like fine motor ,gross motor skills, dis-association, stability and posture which helps in overall development and gives the child confidence to be independent. Her assessment and evaluation of a particular health issue is very accurate. The clinic is well equipped and the staff at the clinic are friendly and well trained. I would strongly recommend Dr. Nishi and her centre Labyrinth for overall development n quality therapy .
Dr. Nishi and Dr. Sanchita have been treating my child for the last + years now.. my child has been diagnosed with hemiplegia which is a form of cerebral palsy.. he was born premature by 3months and was unable to sit up as a 1 year old.. with therapy from Nishi and Sanchita he has been meeting most of his milestones.. he started riding a bicycle last month which was such a big achievement for him and it would not have been possible without the therapy he gets for his fine and gross motor skills to improve.. he goes through multiple forms of occupational therapy at the clinic 4 days a week... and we have been using splints for his hand which is ensuring he doesn’t develop any deformities due to his muscle weakness as he grows and for his legs we have been using ankle foot orthosis which is a leg brace.
Overall I would recommend Dr Nishi and her team very highly for paediatric physiotherapy as they have had a huge impact on my child’s development
My son was born with bilateral clubfoot and is under Ponseti treatment with Dr. Jayant Sampat. Like any other parent we were worried for our son biggest milestone of walking. He did it, and we were very happy. Noticed some difficulties like foot wouldn't touch 100% he use to run on his toes etc. We shared our concern with Dr. Sampat and he asked us to meet Dr. Nishi. Our first meeting was not only about his problems walking , sitting and standing but about his overall personality. His core muscles, weak abdominal strength were all that Dr Nishi wanted to address. She is a honest and frank Dr. She helped my son with various exercises. Tought me important exercises. A permanent improvement happened in my son's walking, standing and body balancing. Thank you Dr. Nishi and her team.
I consulted Dr Nishi Agarwal for treatment of cerebral palsy as suggested by Dr Jayant Sampath.
She is very friendly, listens to problem completely and suggest solution accordingly.
She Comes up with inovative ideas and ways to help me to understand current problem and how excercises assist to overcome the same. Assisted me with easy way of performing day to day activites
She is well versed with her work, very informative and innovative
I am noticing improvement in my health and way I walk.
Along with this the point I would like to highlight is that she also provides emotional support which is very much required for someone who has to undergo therapy for long term.
I wish her all the very best.
