Ms Lidia has completed my M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology (RCI recognized) with a prior work experience of one year as a Research Assistant at NIMHANS on a pilot project dealing with children with autism, their caregivers and brain imaging. During her training period, she has dealt with children, adolescents and adults, and their varying concerns of mental health that include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and disorders of childhood development. She has a keen interest in family dynamics that play out implicitly and explicitly in the origin and maintenance of mental health issues. The third wave therapies are my areas of strength. I was always sceptical about therapy but after attending a session I knew this was the best thing to have happened to me. I have had anxiety for years now. And my coping mechanisms only made it worse. Lidia is genuinely interested, immensely capable in finding the root cause of problems and offer practical, effective solutions. Right from the start, I felt comfortable sharing how i felt. Lidia assessed the issues and within a couple of sessions, I experienced so much relief that I regret not doing this earlier. With tremendous encouragement from Lidia, I see the beginning of a better life. I strongly recommend therapy sessions with Lidia if you suffer from crippling anxiety, depression and behavioural disorders.
