Dr. Divya Kannan completed her Ph.D. at the University of Memphis, Ten…read morenessee, the USA in 2012, and then worked at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, the USA as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor. She is trained to manage a wide range of psychological concerns in adults (+18 years) such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, OCD, through her strong generalist training, and then went on to specialize at Vanderbilt University in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Stress. This includes dealing with concerns such as emotional abuse, child abuse, physical and sexual assault, domestic violence, unexpected physical and psychological injury to self and others through car/vehicle accidents, unexpected death or illness and complicated bereavement, and other types of distressing life events.
