Dr Akshita makes me comfortable enough to talk about any topic, thought or concern that comes to my mind during the course of our sessions.
She has been the cornerstone of my recovery from anxiety and depression , which I was grappling with for 2 years , before I met her.
Her methods are subtle but highly effective. An out and out professional , who knows to listen and nudge in the right direction.
I have made simple behavioral changes on her advise, which has made me a less anxious person today.
Therapy in India is still not very extensively sought, although awareness is now growing.
I would recommend anyone facing mental issues to give therapy a try and see for yourself the difference it can make. And even more so if you are able to do it with a doctor as good as Dr.Akshita.
I have encouraged my children who are in their teens to also consult with her. In today's environment of toxic social media and peer pressure, kids too need all the guidance they can get at the right time.
We have had a great experience consulting with Ms. Akshita, She is been of great help in guiding us appropriately during our sessions.
We have been consulting from past 3 years and we are very happy the way she helps us to handle the situations and guide us with different techniques to manage our stress.
These techniques allows us to manage our stress effectively and helps us in day to day activities.
We highly recommend Ms. Akshita Hariharan to our family and friends.

I was having trouble with anxiety/panic attack and I was taking Lonazep 0.5 tablet for almost 5 years. I tried many ways to stop the tablet, but withdrawal symptoms were huge, like lack of concentration, insomnia etc. I approached Ms. Akshita and I had 5 sessions and she really helped me quit the tablet and how to overcome anxiety. She is a very kind person and every session was very informative and learnt something new out of it. Now I am not dependent on any tablet and stress free. Thank you so much for your help.
I have been working with Ms.Akshita for the last 2 and half years. Her ability to listen Intently break down the challenges and thoughts and then support me to create a Plan to move forward to achieve my goals and support me to manage my emotions and deal with what life throws at me has been very beneficial to me.
She is a thorough professional and I would recommend her to people of all ages, as she has the ability , experience and competence to understand the different needs and challenges.
Therapy is not only when you have a problem it’s also helpful to understand our areas of improvement and work on them.
It’s definitely worked for me and I am sure many people can benefit from her expertise.
"I had consulted the doctor and it was for therapy session in February month. It was verbal therapy done by doctor. She is decent *** * **** ******. Medicine was not prescribed by the doctor. I am moderately satisfied with the treatment given. Waiting time was for 30 minutes as previous therapy was going on. I can recommend doctor to my family or friends and the hospitality was good.
\
I wanted practical insights into my behavioural pattern and how I can adapt that to communicate more effectively and build better relationships, personally and professionally. Akshita was very helpful in this regard.
Akshita has been able to help me get through a depressive episode in my life and bounce back as a much more confident and aware individual. She is able to put her patients at ease and has the capability of guiding you instead of pushing. Highly recommend to anyone going through a difficult phase or even from a personal growth perspective.
Dr. Akshita is extremely helpful and has helped me navigate this difficult times with Work From Home and managing personal and professional challenges thrown by this pandemic. Earlier I felt I was not fully equipped to handle the situation, but i am more living a more balanced and healthy life now. She introduced me to various tips and techniques such as mindfulness, expressive writing and others that clear the mind and improve focus, productivity and overall happiness.
I've been with Akshita, for three years. It's been very helpful to me on a variety of accounts: managing stress-related pain, arthritis-related pain, trying to understand how I feel, allowing myself to feel good things, learning to see patterns in the way I think. Highly recommend. Therapy is rarely this good.
