Visited Dr. Srinath B S For Cancer Treatment
I am truly fortunate that Dr. Srinath is dad' doctor, and am always grateful. And its been 4 years by the time my dad is been cured from cancer. I must say you are an excellent human being and then an excellent doctor.
I want to thank from bottom of my heart for your time, energy, attention, care. Thanks for going beyond in all aspects. Your treatment is not restricted to prescription, but it about healing. It is not always medicines that can cure but the words you assure, positivity driven attitude always boosts us. I always think "We paid Doctor for his services but in fact we are in his debt forever which cannot be repaid"
Dr. Srinath is extremely experienced, caring person. Added to his experience he is a very busy doctor. My dad was suffering from Intestine Cancer, by the time we recognised it was in second stage. Family doctor(Dr.Sridevi) suggested Rangadore Memorial hospital (now cancer treatment is a special wing named Shankara hospital)
Dr.Srinath has taken enough time to plan for the surgery. Within 2 days of identification all the arrangements are been done for operation. He spends enough time with every patient in his visits. Even if he was not always available, he makes sure his assistants do help every patient. Always suggests the second thought to move on when complications are involved. My dad's case is a such a rare one where he has to undergo operation twice to get back to his routines. But Doctor has reached us personally to explain the complications and the reason why he is delaying the second operation. Dad regularly meets the doctor and follows the instructions given by him(once in 3 months)
Hospital maintenance was very clean, planned. Nursing staff are very active and they exceptional attitude. They always respected patients. Actively reminding about medicines every time.
There is a diagnostic lab in the hospital. All the facilities were available within the premises. Billing staff were also very helpful in getting all the required claim forms. Cleaning staff (not the least) always used to find an add-on to be cleaned. They used to clean thrice a day to avoid the regular medicine smell. I must say its terrific job to work hard to that level.
There is small garden available in hospital premises. But no patient is allowed to go. I understand people who got operated should not go. But all of them are equally restricted.
Every coin has two sides and so this. As it is intestine cancer, we would be expecting doctor to suggest in his food habits. But doctor is not so proactive. We collected his assistant's phone number and used to contact him every month.
Whenever we made an appointment, receptionist mentions at 10am but doctor would turn around at 9pm. Impact of this is we gotta wait many hours in hospitals.
I understand doctor is very busy with many operations, in-patient visits, etc., But he has to keep in mind about out-patients also as there would be many such patients who are not from bangalore. This happens every time we book an appointment. It would be great if available at fixed timings. So that we can plan our day too.
A BIG thanks to doctor, nurses, hospital staff, cleaning staff and whoever involved directly and indirectly to make every patient comfortable
Visited Dr. Srinath B S For Counselling
Happy with: Explanation of the health issue
****** ******* ** **** ************* *** highly experienced. Before his consultation, we have to meet his team of junior doctors, who collect the basic history about us and later accompany us during consultation with him. The waiting time is very high, as there are many patients and every time, there will be some emergency cases, which we have to adjust understanding the situation. Keep yourself free for the day, as you will not be sure about when you will meet him exactly. But it's worth to wait and visit Srinath sir, as our goal is quality treatment.

The entire episode goes like this.....
I am P Gopalkrishna Nayak, husband of late Mrs Shyamala G Nayak whom I lost in Sri Shankara Hospital on August 11 at about 2:00am (actual death took place at about 11:30pm on August 10.) But the doctors declared her dead at 2:30am on August 11 after making so much drama in ICU pretending to save my wife.
My wife Shyamala G Nayak was brought to the hospital to consult Dr B S Srinath on advice of Dr S K Shenoy to whom I had taken my wife for severe pain in her right thigh. He checked my wife and prescribed some medicine for pain relief and asked me to bring a report from Dr Srinath B S for further treatment. He gave the reason as Hemoglobin level has gone down for the leg pain. Earlier in 2005 Dr Srinath B S had operated my wife's breast cancer and now it is 2015 which means she survived for 10 more years post operation. But this credit I don't give to Dr Srinath who operated her breast cancer successfully. Success of breast cancer operation is common. But what is important is her survival for 10 more years and that is purely because of my wife's STRONG WILL POWER AND REGULAR YOGA PRACTICE. Daily she used to do breathing exercise of yoga and one who practices breathing exercise of yoga can never die due to CARDIAC ARREST. In the death certificate the doctor on duty has given the cause for death as CARDIAC ARREST. What a irony!!!!!!!!!! The whole hospital is responsible for my wife's death. The LAB closes at 8:00pm in the hospital, one doctor on duty at night on 8th asked me to bring report for DENGUE from another nearby hospital at 9:30pm. I asked the doctor whether he knows anything about DENGUE. I know the symptoms of dengue and I tpld him that I don't want any report for suspected dengue as the dengue symptoms are constant fever and shewering and my wife had no such symptoms. Why this was necessary? Even then they have collecred some Rs 700 plus for this test for which we don't have any report. Every now and then some nurse comes and gives one chit to bring some medicine from their pharmacy. It is a regular practice every day. On 10th August the blood bank asked me to arrange for 4-5 blood donors as SDP(Single Donor Plazma) was required immediately. Where from I have to arrange 4-5 blood donors and that too immediately! Still, I arranged 3 blood donors with help of my sister and brother-in-law. SDP was infused and many packets of platlets were also infused into her body. But everything was in vain
The worst part of this episode is post death procedure which is highly condemnable. My wife's body was kept in mortuary and we were asked to clear the bill. At the same time the lady who was at reception counter asked my son to bring medicines which were used in ICU at 2 o'clock in the midnight. My son had just come from Malaysia directly to the hospital and he was in utter shock since he could not talk to his mother who breathed her last one hour brfore his arrival. The arrogant lady asked him to bring medicine without anybody's knowledge. Can anybody imagine the so arrogantt lady asking the deceased mother's son to bring medicines which were used in ICU. They could have charged the amount of those medicines in the final bill for which we had no objection. To conclude, I would say that this hospital is good for nothing. All the doctors are good for nothing and the entire management is good for nothing. For three days in the hospital my wife was not given patient's gown, for three days she was not given sponge bath. I fail to understand what the HELL is going on in the hospital. All are useless and GOD only save patients. My blood is boiling while writing all this.

Happy with: Explanation of the health issue
I visited Dr Shekar based on the reviews he got on Practo for second expert opinion on Lymphoma treatment for Dad . He gave his frank opinion on the case.He gave the confidence of treating it in just 6 months after seeing the existing reports. He said it’s going to be 60-70K per one chemo and for 6 months. While the hospital is quite transparent about its costing , there was no specific offer for BPL/APL Carr holders. As the treatment was supposed to be once in 3 weeks , we thought it’s going to be bit more expensive than Manipal hospital, Manipal where we have to go through 6 chemos for 6 months for around 3 lac excluding hospital stay expenditure. Though we were not fortunate enough to get treatment, it’s one of the hospitals you can definitely visit for cancer related treatments. Hospital is clean and neatly maintained. There is a positive vibe with temple like environment. I would like to recommend this hospital.Hope this helps.
He is god to me. I got his name from Internet and decided to meet him for my father prostate gland enlargement. I met with so many doctors, but I never saw such kind and caring behaviour from doctors till now. He listen very carefully and he is very open to patient about the pros and cons of treatment. Also, he shared his personal number where we can reach him at any time for any problem.
He operated my father prostate gland and my father started felling great withing week which itself say how efficient he is in his work.
If you have any problem related to Urinary tract, Kidney etc you can meet him without giving second thoughts.
Thanks a lot Sir, keep up the good work and save the nation.
