I started going to Dr. Aruna based on a couple of reviews I had read online when I was searching for a gynaecologist to consult when I conceived my first little angel. I booked an appointment online and in the first visit itself I knew there was something about her that made her stand out from the others. Dr. Aruna is extremely friendly, pleasant , cheerful and in ever visit explained exactly what we were to be doing etc. I was really scared of a delivery but doctor was so reassuring I just placed my trust in her, she would make me feel so comfortable and so secure all the time. She even conducted a parent craft session which we could attend online absolutely free of cost during the corona lockdown and it was so beneficial for my husband and me as we learnt so many wonderful things.

Fast forward to the day of my delivery, I had to have a c section because of possible foetal distress and believe me it was like a dream ! Three days ago I just walked into the hospital for a regular check up and by night I had my little angel in my arms ! Doctor organised the entire surgery in less than 10 minutes and it was my wedding anniversary the same day. It was amazing to see the staff work so fast and within no time doctor was with me in the OT, she even held my hands while the spinal anasthesia was being administered. She knew I was an anxious patient and kept talking to me throughout the surgery so I felt calm and relaxed. She was so professional so loving and homely that I felt I had known her for years!!

I got discharged within three days and she came to see me every day with her big smile and cheerful nature.

Please don think of any other doctors as options do visit her for any Gynaecological problem and you will never go to any other doctor again :) !!!

The TRUE Gynaecologist in Bangalore

I am sharing my experience in detail. My wife was suffering from pelvic pain after menstrual period days and in usg it was found that she was having endometriotic cyst. I was consulting in a popular maternity hospital (with a famous OBG ) and she suggested laparoscopy and also told that my wife may need some treatment / IVF to get pregnant in future based on USG report. She requested my wife to stop her school job and should try for baby immediately after laparoscopy. We were very much depressed at that time, one of my friend told me about Dr. Jaya Bhat to take second opinion.

I remember, it was a winter day in early December, we met Jaya Bhat at

Fortis. There were only a very few patients for her and we were confused whether we came to correct doctor or not. But things changed totally when we entered into the her cabin and spoke with her. She saw all the reports and suggested similar laparoscopy (cystectomy) but we were impressed by her confidence and way of talking. She told that after doing laparoscopy she would tell us future course of treatment for my wife but encouraged my wife to continue her job which we liked a lot.

Finally, wife's laparoscopy was done at Manipal and Jaya Bhat came out of OT and told me that there was no cyst in ovary but due to presence of some mass (with tarry fluid) outside tube it was causing pain after period days. Doctor told that she encountered this type of case for the first time but was sure that my wife will be pregnant naturally. She gave analogue injection one dosage and asked us to try naturally. Also, she wrote the same in prescription "can get pregnant naturally". We were loosing patience but at the beginning of 6th month my wife got pregnant. I messaged Dr. Bhat but she was abroad at that time, so we continued pregnancy treatment in a maternity hospital and even they were surprised at first shot how my wife conceived naturally with suspected endometriosis. But when they saw "Dr. Jaya Bhat" in my wife's case history they did not ask anything further. Finally, I have become father last month and we believe it is all because of Dr. Jaya Bhat, her rich experience and obviously God's blessings.

Our experience with the doctor was quite dissapointing. To start with, the doctor or the attendant to the doctor did not inform us that I was supposed to drink a lot of water before the ultrasound and we did not know all this as this was our first experience. Five minutes before commencing the scan they asked me to drink water, and started the scan. The doctor was pressing hard against my lower abdomen as by bladder was obviously still not full. When asked "is it supposed to hurt so much" she did not even bother responding to the question. When asked the second time, as I was in too much pain, she used a very rude tone and screamed saying she knows her job. Further, the AC vent was just above my head and I was running a fever and cold so I requested for the temperature to be made warmer for 5 minutes or the I density of the AC to be reduced but she did not respond again. When the pain in the abdomen became unbearable I had asked her again if it is supposed to pain so much and she just screamed at me that i have fokded my knees which i am not suppsed to do. At this point my husband had to intervene as she was just screaming at me, and he rquested "ma'am this is out firat tome so you may please tell her how she is supposed to lie down as we don't know". At this point she became furious and said she will not do the scan and I should just leave and find a different hospital. After this she stormed out of the scanning room leaving me still on the table (half naked and greased with the gel). We have never come across such a rude and inconsiderate person and especially not a doctor who is talking to an expecting mother for the first time who is half scared because she doesn't know what to expect and how much shouid scan hurt or not. The episode did not end there, we had the consultation appointment in 10 minutes with Dr. Nivedita hence my husband went to check of somebody may come and complete the scan as we needed it for the consultation. After about half an hour, a lady by the name Monica spoke to us and told us that Dr. Harini does not want to do our scan as she felt i was ride in asking the questions. When asked why she dint answer the questions, she said that Dr. Harini told her that she did not hear me asking anything the first time and the second and third time she dint answer my questions as she was engrossed in the scan. The explain obviously was up to the mark as there was no real reason for her rude behavior. We informed Dr. Monica that we were ready to move on from the episode even after the insulting behaviour metted out to me and we just wanted to get the scan done and move on as it seemed like a communication gap. Post this, another half an hour later I was told that the scan be done. The scan was over in less than 2 minutes, Dr. Harini ***** ******* ** ** *** ****** **** *** *** *** ******* *** *** ******* did not tell us anything about the baby or the heartbeat or anything at all. *** ********* ******** ** ** *** ******** ** ********* ** *** ****** ***** ********* **** ** **** *** **** We did not even know about these things until the doctor told us that we were supposed to be told about these things during the scan. In fact she was surprised to know that we did not know anything about the heartbeat etc.

To sum up, I would never like to go back to Dr. Harini, and neither would recommend her ** ***** **** ******* who may be scared and have innocent questions.

My wife had some health complications such as PSOD, Thyroid, Anxiety disorder, Skin Allergy. Unfortunately, she had missed miss-carries 5 years before.

We were consulting with a Dr in some other Hospital for first 6 weeks. But we could have enough confidence to continue there.

I would say we were just lucky that we booked with Dr Aruna Muralidhar. She checked all reports from previous Hospital and suggested to start thyroid medicine immediately. She talked to my wife in detail to know health history and also helped her to manage her anxiety level. Soon after few visits we knew we are in very safe hands.

In last trimester’s scan she found that baby is not growing as per standard growth rate, she told us she might need to induce the labor, however she was able to manage this by some medicine and in next week baby’s growth was better.

Due to my wife’s health problems I always used to think there will be C-Section, but Dr made it normal delivery. Next day Dr came and after checkup said she is going to discharge us.

We were discharged within 24 hours after the delivery. It was unbelievable for us Normal delivery, everything fine with baby and then discharged within 24 hours.

She is the best doctor we ever met. Thank you so much Dr Aruna.

We consulted Dr. Aruna Muralidhar throughout pregnancy starting from first month.It was pleasant experience for us and we are grateful to her. We blindly trusted and followed her advice starting from first visit and never felt like we wanted anything more. She is transparent, to the point, crystal clear in communication and a confidence booster. She also promptly responded to messages when we had some queries. Our parents and in laws were very happy to see doctor who is down to earth and approachable. We were blessed with baby on 1st of January through normal delivery which was in fact little complex as baby weight was above average and the process took almost entire day having admitted to hospital in the morning and delivery close to midnight. Doctor followed up all through the day and hospital staff executed every decision as per doctor’s advice. She was in labour room till end and ensured smooth delivery which also gave all of us confidence and peace of mind.Overall, we strongly recommend Dr. Aruna Muralidhar and will definitely refer her to our family and friends.Thanks,Poojashree & Prathap

My baby's belly button wasn't healing for a long time after the umbilical cord fell off. During the vaccination Dr. Srinath noticed this and identified it as umbilical granuloma. Dr. Sreenath advised me to apply rock salt on the red lump and cover it with a band aid. I had my own doubts if it will hurt the baby, or if we can apply any cream instead. Dr was patient enough to help me understand this. Much to my surprise the red lump dried within half and hour of application of rock salt. When I repeated the same the second time the lump disappeared and the belly button healed completely. It was an inexpensive treatment that worked wonders. Dr. Sreenath does not suggest any expensive medications for any issue with the new borns , he only suggests natural and effective ways. He is a subject matter expert and does not just gives medicines, instead he takes time, asks questions , only after patiently receiving complete information he prescribes medication. I met her when I was pregnant for the first time, n my first pregnancy was little bit complicated

My baby’s growth was slow, liqueur was less etc. so she had to keep seeing my baby n it’s growth often with scans etc n she was concerned about my health as well she took care of me n my baby till the end m. .

she took a decision of delivering me 10 days earlier then my due date which was on13/05/2016 but I delivered on 3rd May 2016 as she asked me to get admitted on 30/04/2016 evening as she is going to induce me for labour as she felt there was no point in waiting more

As my baby’s growth was already stopped, basically my baby was small baby for how much it actually suppose to be 🙁 but she told me not to worry my baby is absolutely a healthy baby n it will pick up its growth once it out of my womb. 1st n 2nd May they tried to get me into labour through some jell which is to put once in six hours but even after putting it for the fourth time I didn’t get my labour pain so

3rd early morning prathima mam decided to induce

Me which caused me shivering but no real labour pain

As I said it was early in the morning they took me to labour room around 5am, Mam was not around but every second she was monitoring me from where ever she was.. she was taking my report from the doctor n nurses who were present with me n guiding them step by step till she herself came to me

Later they broke my water bag after which finally I was in pain, true labour pain . . .

I was not able to bare I was crying n only thing I would ask the nurses was where is mam n when all this is gonna end . . .

I don’t know what was going on and y the baby was not coming out they even took signatures from my mom that if things go worse they might go for C Section as well

Which left all my family members worried.

Around 9am I finally saw prathima mam which gave me little strength, she didn’t hurry or took a call for C- Section she waited n kept monitoring the baby’s condition she just told me along with the pain when I start feeling like passing motion let the nurse know n went down to OPD where other patients were waiting for her around 10/ 10:15 am I told them & they shifted me to delivery room n mam just checked n went down again , thinking it would take some more time but I started pushing n within no time the head of the baby was visible so all the nurses around me just ran to call mam n the dr who was attending me asked me to stop 😳 n hold

Mam came running to me she started preparing herself as well as me by putting my legs up cleaning etc . . . N one thing she was telling me when she was doing all that was Azeema don’t push, don’t push hold until I say I was like mam I can’t 😭 . . . Someone literally was holding my baby’s head from a finger to stop until everything is all clear finally mam had done all the nessecities an she began to to tell me to push

Push Azeema push, May be I was very week not doing great that to at that peak time n literally mam

Ordered me “Azeema I want ur baby now” with she by my side encouraging me I gave the final push and the baby was out she said congratulations Azeema

It’s a baby boy 😊 I could never forget that moment in my life she just turned that complicated delivery into normal delivery for which mainly I choose her cause I didn’t want to go for C Sec on any cost first I thank Almighty Allah then her

She talks to the point, seriously n strictly but in Her strictness also I see love n concern so I m just a fan of her, I even delivered my second child under her care in fortis la femme for which she was not there when I was due 21/aug/ 2017 she was out of country

Which made me sad even though everything went on well I delivered a beautiful baby girl but her absences was felt

N now I m expecteing for the third time she is my doctor she is too good n my only request to her is please don’t leave me n go when I m due

I am much confident and proud of my body after getting the adminoplasty done by you.My Story:During my pregnancy for my first child, I had gained a 30 kg weight and eventually my baby's was very healthy with a weight of 4.2kg. Visited the doctor for my pregnant wife. Right from the very early stages, all the way to post natal, the doctor is super friendly and with full transparency explains everything in detailed manner. Having Dr.Aruna as our gynec, gave us lot of confidence and hope even during tough times in the process, both during pregnancy and birth phases. Her approach was for normal delivery as preference which was most suited for us as well. She was very welcoming for any queries and follow ups. Immense respect for the doctor in the way she handled everything. For any future consultations too, we wouldnt have to think even for a second. Iam Reena Peter. Dr. Aruna is the best in town. She is an outstanding doctor compared to any other, a very kind hearted and a caring doctor. She listens to your concerns very patiently and gives very good response. I had a normal delivery and the way she handled the entire process was outstanding.
