Met Dr Zahid on my friends advise. On my first visit, I was hesitant. But the doctor made me comfortable and explained clearly on multiple treatment options.

I chose the option of shock wave therapy without stent before going in for laser treatment as this was no operation and good on pocket.

I had two session of this therapy for approx 20-30 minutes each. This therapy is very good and you don't need worry of insertions in your body. A device is kept on your body and the shock waves are sent directly to the stone and doctor and lab technician will be around you and explain how the stone is reacting. You would just feel as some pin is poking on your back. If high intensity then a slight pain but bearable. Once it's done, you can continue with your normal work. Will have slight redishness on back.

Post my session therapy the doctor advised me stating the stone has broken into fragments. Post which he gave me medicines and diet chart and within that week I could feel all the tiny particles flowing through urine.

The reason I am sharing my story is because most of them are hesitant.
