Dr. Swetha. P grew up under the shadow of skin and cosmetology practice since her kindergarten days as her father Dr. R Panneer Selvam was one of the top listed dermatologist and cosmetologist at the U.A.E, this made her pursue her career to become a Dermatologist. She completed her M.B.B.S from Pondicherry University and her masters(M.D D.V.L) from Rajah Muthiah medical college under the guidance of Prof. P.V.S Prasad and P.K Kaviarasan. Having interest towards academics and Pediatric dermatology she joined as an Assistant professor in the Department of D.V.L at Sree Balaji medical college under the supervision of Prof. Jayakar Thomas for more than 2 years and did several paper publications and case studies. She has gained her experience in Private practice in understanding the patient's requirements and needs by working as a Private Consultant at the Skin clinic at OMR - Epidermis and also at NM hospital Coimbatore She has received training in Lasers and anti-aging treatments from the Middle East. She has attended workshop on Botox at European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology- Vienna - 2016She has been selected and invited as faculty for several podium presentations both at national and international level.She has received the prestigious ‘Galadari award’ from Prof. Ibrahim Galadari for the Best Paper Published category at Dubai Derma 2017.

I met Dr. Sweta for a consultation. She explained the problem to me in detail and gave me the required medicines. i had consulted her once before and i was very satisfied with the treatment. But this time i faced a little issue after the consultation. I was buying the medicines and had a confusion about an ointment that she had prescribed. now i called the clinic first and the receptionist said Dr. Sweta is busy. I called again after 15mins, the receptionist said she is busy. then i texted Dr. Sweta about the medicine. Though she replied back but i wanted to talk to her and then be sure about it. hence I called the clinic again and the receptionist said she is busy. I called again after half an hour and the receptionist refused to give the phone to Dr. Sweta even after telling her than i need not even a minute. after several calls, finally Dr. Sweta came on call and sounded quite rude. I was a little surprised with her behaviour wherein i was just trying to confirm the name of a medicine. this kind of behaviour from a clinic and a doctor is quite disheartening.

My skin started being really bad post covid . Tried many home remedies never worked then through my friend I visited Dr. Swetha. Thanks to Doctor’s perfect advice and help my skin has never looked this good . It’s been 8 months and continuing the skincare , my skin looks so good even without makeup ,also doctor even helped me overcome my hair problems Post Covid. My hair started growing back.
