How often do we come across a Doctor with compassion? Dr. Sunil Joshi is one such of a very few handful doctors out there. He is an excellent surgeon with humanely qualities!

A very good listener when his patient is describing his/her illness. Just like most patients I walked into his OPD room with tons of questions (some were repetitive as I was worried). He patiently listened, made me feel comfortable, explained me about the varicose veins in detail.

Understanding the condition as it was Grade I, he suggested me with some lifestyle changes and control measures to keep it under control without worsening, which I did for almost 4 years. When it started to cause me discomfort that's when Dr. Sunil suggested me for surgery.

I underwent open surgery for one leg and laser for another leg in March and almost on the path of full recovery now. Dr. Sunil successfully performed the surgery and post-surgery, he was always available to answer my queries via chat/call. Without losing his calm, he understands during recovery patients will have questions on post-recovery symptoms and he was always there to help me understand.

My mother aged 72 , has been suffering from varicose vein in both her legs for last several years. During this period her walking posture clearly exhibited uneasiness and pain. My father aged 63yrs had pain in the calf region with slight discoloration of toes. So immediately we went to Columbia Asia Hospital, sarjapur road in Bangalore at around 1a.m and consulted the duty doctor in emergency ward . We were advised to consult the Vascular surgeon, Dr. Sunil Joshi. The doctor arrived within no time. After careful and thorough examination and after going through the reports, he diagnosed the problem as aneurysm with acute limb ischemia. So he advised us to undergo an emergency Vascular surgery. There are no words to explain my experience with Dr. Sunil Joshi. It is very rare that one meets a doctor and human of this grain. He is so spot on in his diagnosis and extremely friendly.

Always available through all means. My mother was misdiagnosed as diabetic foot ulcer patient. She had been undergoing wrong treatment in Delhi for more than a year.

Since the issue kept appearing back, we decided to look out in Bangalore and happen to visit Dr. Joshi. He didn’t have to meet the patient for the diagnosis (in my case). The reports and pictures were enough. He had explained all probable diagnosis and suggested for a surgery followed by biopsy. The biopsy result turned out to be not in our favour (which Dr had already spoke about during initial visits), but atleast we got to know correct diagnosis . Dr. Joshi made sure to put us through right fraternity and some amazing doctors to made sure my mother is taken care off (since my mother’s case was no more under vascular).

My mother still visits him for the surgery wound. There is a connection he develops with his patients which in my opinion treats the patient half way through. Will recommend him a million times.

Dr Sunil Joshi had recently treated my mother aged 70 years, who was suffering for Vericose Veins Ulcers, where blood would ooz out and she would have a huge loss of blood. I went to Dr. Sunil for my mother's age old varicose vein treatment. She had to seek sudden medical help when her problem aggravated with some ulcerous points that started bleeding.
