After understanding the issue, he said that there is no need for the hearing aid machine and advised simple remedies. I found this doctor to be kind of arrogant. I believed I had a cotton bud lodged in my ear. When cleaning my ear the cotton bud came off and I was sure it went into the ear, but it turned out I was wrong and it fell to the ground. When the doctor said there's no bud in the ear I was surprised and asked him, impulsively, "Are you sure?!" His response was "Are you questioning me?" Then we went back to his table and I asked him another question I had, whether constant presence of phlegm was something I should be concerned about. Irritatedly, he said "Can you tell me all your problems at once??" and told me to return to the check-up chair. I walked out thinking, "What a rude doctor!" If I'm paying 300 rupees for 3 minutes of your time in which you look into my ear and find nothing -- I surely have the right to ask you a question, don't I? Having more knowledge than the patient does not give a doctor the right to treat the patient like a lesser human.
