Dr Sarju Mathew graduated from St Johns Medical College in Bangalore and obtained MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from PGI, Chandigarh. After that he completed his senior residency from JIPMER, Pondichery. He continued his training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in UK and gained further expertise in operative gynaecology and completed his CCT in 2008 with special skill modules in Laparoscopic surgery and Gynaecology scanning. He is a member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, International Continence Society and British Society for Colposcopy and cervical Pathology. He has versatile skills and experience in minimal access surgery (laparoscopy), Uro-gynaecological procedures, and Gynaecological Oncology management. He was the expert for Laser laparoscopic management of endometriosis including ablation and excision for the North Glasgow Hospitals for last 8 years. He has been actively contributing to teaching, training and research in Gynaecology and Obstetrics throughout his career and has contributions to publications in cancer screening, management of fibroids, management of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.

The first thing i would say is that he is an AWESOME human being. He has so much patience to explain all our doubts. He was the only doctor who was sure that my girl had endometriosis, while other doctors were adamant that she had cancer. First time i ever felt i saw god, he is god for us. It is so damn surprising that there are such humans in this filthy world. Hats off to Dr.Sarju mathew sir.
Our family had an extraordinarily good experience with Dr. Sarju Mathew. We flew to Bangalore from a different city to see him after we found him on the Internet. We were looking for an experienced specialist.
During our visit, he patiently told us the problems our family member was suffering and made the recommendation that he could find a good surgeon in the city where we came from, which would make the process easier on the family. We decided to stay in Bangalore and had him perform the surgery. It was a very good decision.
Unlike our experience with other doctors, Dr. Mathew did not rush to surgery. He took care of other problems our family member was having. He only scheduled the surgery after our family member was physically ready to undergo major surgery.
Dr. Mathew took the utmost care of our family member, even going out of his way to call us weeks later to check on his patient. He is a great doctor and an outstanding human being. We highly recommend him.
