After his Internal medicine training, he pursued medical oncology training at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. He trained for five years at Tata memorial hospital, which includes 3 years of DM Medical Oncology fellowship, followed by one year training exclusively in the field of stem cell transplantation.
