I was referred to Dr. Rani Bhat by a friend when I was looking for a great gyno for regular hysterectomy for adenomyosis of uterus after relocating from US. I knew that she was gynecological oncologist I was referred to Dr. Rani Bhat by a friend when I was looking for a great gyno for regular hysterectomy for adenomyosis of uterus after relocating from US. I knew that she was gynecological oncologist but still I opted to get treated by her because I knew mine was a complicated case and I had read that Gynecological Oncologist are more experienced than general gynecologist to do challenging cases.

After a couple appointments where she asked me a whole series of questions and reviewing my medical history, Dr Bhat explained she was convinced I had been suffering from adenomyosis this whole time and not fibroid uterus.

Fast forward many months and appointments and we made the decision that since I was at the point where I was in constant pain, it made sense to go forward with the advanced laproscopic procedure that she performs. She spent a whole appointment pre-op going over my priorities and expectations for surgery which also made me more comfortable before my surgery. The surgery was a huge success and I am almost completely pain free now. Thank you for taking away my pain and frustration and giving me back my quality of life.

I am just happy I got lucky finding her, the more I read about adenomyosis of uterus more sad I am that so many women are given wrong information and have many exploratory surgeries with doctors that are not as educated or passionate about helping women with adenomyosis as Dr. Rani Bhat is.

She is also extremely kind and upbeat. She is very down to earth and speaks to her patients with respect and concern for their input. Thank you :-)

Immediately We searched the internet for a gynaecologic oncologists in Bangalore and we are lucky that we found Dr.Rani Bhat. We booked an appointment with her with lots of apprehensions and fears about our mother’s condition. The moment we entered into her room, she welcomed us with her trademark smile and introduced herself. She has gone through my mother’s CT scan reports and explained us everything clearly. she almost confirmed that it’s a stage 3 ovarian cancer but suggested few more scans. That day, We came out of the room with a confidence that my mother will be in safe hands and she will get best possible treatment for her cancer. After biopsy and PET-CT scan it was fully confirmed that it was Stage 3 ovarian cancer, Dr Rani referred us to a medical oncologist for chemo therapy and said she would operate to take out all the cancer in the body (it was spread to ovaries, fallopian tubes and other parts in peritoneum). Before the surgery she clearly explained the procedure to my mother and tried her best to keep my mom positive about the outcome .She made sure everybody in the family is well aware of the surgery procedure and comfortable with it. Thanks to Dr Rani’s pleasant smile and little pep talks, My mother was always in good spirits before the surgery. It was 8 hours surgery and she gave us regular updates from the operation theatre. Surgery was successful, as all the visible cancer in the body had been removed . Even after the surgery, She took great care of her . My mom was totally blown away by her care and love. The day my mother was discharged from the hospital, she called in the late night to check whether we reached home safely. We were touched by her sweet gesture that day .She was always just a phone call away. She used to answer all our questions in the phone very patiently. My mother has so much praise for her ,she keeps thanking Dr.Rani every day for the care and love shown by her. Along the treacherous journey through cancer , Dr.Rani was with us at every step of that journey and we couldn’t thank her enough for that. Thank you very much Dr Rani ,you are a rare combination of a thorough professional ,and caring and passionate individual. I wish everybody good health, but in case of a stroke of a bad luck, I wish they get treated by a doctor like Dr.Rani Bhat. more..

From my As we come to the close of 2015, many of us reflect on the blessings we have received during this year. How grateful I am that I can cite my experience with Dr. Rani Bhat as among my blessings! From my very first visit at the hospital, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly competence of the staff and the pleasant environment of the hospital itself. Dr. Bhat inspires the utmost confidence in you with her warm smile. Whenever I came into her office room, she'd light up, so happy to see me. No one ever in the course of my entire life was ever as happy to see me as she was.

Dr. Bhat takes time to explain all the procedures. She explains all the pros and cons of the treatment so that I can make an independent judgment. If misfortune knocks on your door with any cancer you know where to her. Kudos and the highest recommendation to Dr. Bhat. Stay blessed and healthy.
