As per our records, the root canal procedure done by the doctor was successful which is also seen in the x-ray taken post the procedure. Post root canal treatment, doctor had strictly advised to follow the instructions given and not to bite the tongue and cheek as it is numb due to the anesthesia and also follow the prescription as advised. The patient has developed ulcers on the tongue due to excessive biting and also had taken painkillers more than the prescribed dose.

During the follow-up doctor had strictly advised her not to take excess painkillers and also provided necessary treatment - topical gel for the ulcers. The recovery for ulcer can take anywhere between 10 to 15 days.

As per our record, the treatment was done appropriately and hope this clarifies the issue. Wishing you a speedy recovery
