When I went to see Dr. Praveen, he was very approachable, friendly, helpful, and patient. He checked my problem and gave a diagnosis. He explained about my diagnosis with a drawing and MRI scan and recommended that I go

When I went to see Dr. Praveen, he was very approachable, friendly, helpful, and patient. He checked my problem and gave a diagnosis. He explained about my diagnosis with a drawing and MRI scan and recommended that I go for the surgeries. I was nervous but he gave me a description about what would take place before, during, and after the surgeries. The details he provided helped me to move ahead with the surgeries. The surgeries helped me out and I am feeling much better now. After the surgeries were over, he advised me to stay overnight in the hospital and came to see me during his rounds to check whether everything was alright. He would then do follow-ups with me in the hospital to check whether I am improving and provide me with some advice on how to continue getting better.

He is reachable on WhatsApp to answer questions and help out with any problems.

I would highly recommend Dr. Praveen as a doctor. He is knowledgeable, talented, approachable, patient, amiable, polite, understanding, courteous, helpful, down-to-earth, professional, and excellent in his field. He is also committed and dedicated to his work. We must have more doctors like him who can explain and educate patients.

He is also adjustable if there is anything before having surgery and will re-schedule it based on your comfort and conveniences.

I am 37 yrs, male. I live and work in USA for the past decade. I visited Dr Praveen CR (Columbia Asia Hospital, Whitefield Office) in Feb 2020, concerned about a posterior protrusion during a visit to my parents in India. Dr, Praveen diagnosed it to be a Fistula in the very first meeting and advised me to promptly undergo surgery to stop its further spread. I am glad I did. After a successful minor surgery, I am gradually recovering and feel relieved from an ailment plaguing me for 2 years. My decision to undergo, treatment, and subsequent hospital were made easy by the following:

1. His in depth knowledge about the issue. In the very first meeting, he put me to rest by illustrating the issue on a paper and explaining my many different questions. In my experience, the conversation was as in depth as with a specialist doctor in USA.

2. He never rushed my visit or made me wait. Meeting him each time has been very pleasant and polite. This has led to better doctor-patient bond.

3. He accommodate my concern of return to USA and personally helped schedule the operation on time

4. His tone with me has been re-assuring from the start. Surgery did scare me and my folks. But his tine and confidence and expert advice made all the different.

5. His bedside manner are the best I have seen among all doctors so far. He is respectful, sensitive to cultural concerns. I would not hesitate to take my family members for future visits.

6. He did not hospitalize me after surgery unnecessarily. Thus a saving me time, and hospital costs. I was discharged after the same day after a review

7. He was easy to reach out to and schedule an appointment with. He was there for my visit even though most doctors refused to come hospital due to COVID scare.
