Hello! My name is zainab Ahmed ! I’m from Africa (Nigeria) my mum had cancer of the breast her breast was removed due to the ailment ,the whole of her hand on that side were the breast was removed started swelling. In fact she started complaining that the hand is very heavy and also having some pains there so she couldn’t use that hand like the other, after we complained to the doctors in HCG hospital in Bangalore (India) we were referred to see Dr prashant puranik, who is a plastic surgeon.Dr prashant is a very friendly Dr , the very first day we met him I really like the way he handle everything, my mum was very comfortable with him. My mum had a plastic surgery on her hand by Dr prashant which was in may 2018.To be honest now the swelling has gone down , no heaviness no pain no complains,and now she is using her hand very well. My son is a osteo sarcoma patient from past 5 years we came here with severe implant infection from other hospital shown. Prashant puranik (plastic surgeon) and pramod chinder(ortho oncologist ) from H C G has done a fabulous work in saving my son leg. My son lost so much of skin due to implant infection. My father went for hemimandibulectomy surgery at HCG Hospital,Bangalore.The reconstruction part was done by Dr Prashant Sir.It was a very complex process and we were quite nervous before surgery but was very happy how it came out after surgery.The best thing was he answered all our queries patiently,however silly it was and kept us informed during surgery also.Our family was ensured that my father is in good hands .He is **** ******** *** very humble and soft spoken .Even after post surgery he is very co-operative.

My mother was diagnosed with dysplasia/mouth ulcer in the month of April - May. We visited HCG hospital for an expert second opinion and met Dr Prashant and his team. My father was diagnosed with Carcinoma tongue. The surgery required removing almost half of the tongue and replacing it with graft from some other body part. At first without having any clue about the procedure, we were very scared. I remember meeting Dr Prashant with lot of anxiety and a long list of questions. I was referred to Dr Prashant Puranik by my onco surgeon. I'm a breast cancer patient, and was recommended for a bilateral mastectomy and immediate flap reconstruction (June 2021) While this kind of news is grim and difficult to process especially at my age (33yrs) meeting Dr Prashant for my reconstruction was a blessing. He is by far one of the most patient doctors I have met, answering all your doubts however silly very patiently and went through all the options available and helped us decide the best choice for reconstruction. I had just one request to Dr, to give me an aesthetic result such that no one can identify that I have had a reconstruction, and Dr Prashant has delivered that result amazingly well. I can't emphasize enough the effect reconstruction has on your self confidence. I cannot forget to mention the amazing post operative care by Dr Prashant and his team. Thank you Dr Prashant for everything. I recommend any woman who is in my shoes to consider reconstruction after mastectomy. And I highly recommend Dr Prashant Puranik for the same.

My ovaries are normal .Due to small uterus my vagina wasnot devloped properly inside.i have primary amenorrhoea.i went to dr prashant for my vaginoplasty.He suggested me for flapvaginoplasty for sexual intercourse. So before my surgery i was in liquid diet.it was 3 to 4hour surgery.after post surgery i was 5days hospitalized. And the wound recovered properly.i went to doctor firs 2 month in evry 15 days. He is very polite and helpful. Which problem i had, may be somany girls have but they are not vocal about it.if you have this problem kindly be vocal . My best suggestion you can see dr prashanth..he can help you regarding this problem. i have almost recovered and doing dilation evryday as per doctor suggestion. I am so happy..after this surgery i can do sexual intercourse.i am happy with my new life.its new begining for me. I am going to marry my partner next month. Thank you somuch to dr prashant for his kindness. He listens very calmly of my evry problem.he is very polite and calm doctor.Thank you somuch doctor.

My daughter underwent surgery for removal of a tumour and Dr. Prashant did the reconstruction surgery. The tumour was in the mouth and the reconstruction was complicated and surgery itself took more than ten hours. It is really gratifying that despite the complications there is no visible sign on the patient’s face which we felt is remarkable. Dr. Prashant’s demeanour and the way he responds to the patient’s requirements are great. He and his team were wonderful during the entire course of the treatment.
