I got treatment from manjunath haridas and it was a pleasant experience with him. my abdomen pain is gone now and I am doing well.

Words are short while writing this note to express our humble gratitude to Dr. Manjunath Haridas. It's about a fatal road traffic accident (RTA) of a 27-year-old young man, one of our family members, in Whitefield, Bangalore. His friends have taken him to Emergency of Manipal Hospitals Whitefield (MHW) on accident night. The patient's right side lower abdominal, and pelvic were severely damaged, and the situation was critical.

The following early morning, Dr. Manjunath Haridas received SOS from the hospital and rushed to the operation theater (OT) because there was a requirement for emergency surgery to save the life. Unfortunately, injuries were more critical than estimated from the X-ray, CT & other lab reports.

Dr. Haridas not only assessed the actual damages inside the body but also restructured the badly deformed areas as much as possible and prevented further deterioration in the first and foremost surgery of the patient. He created the opportunity, foundation, and pathway to act on saving the life of a critically injured trauma patient.

Easier said than done. Imagine a surgeon, with no accurate information about the amount of damage inside the body, with no conventional surgery plan, enters into the operation theater, spends hours, and comes out after restraining the out-of-control situation. Such an exceptional attempt needs knowledge beyond the textbooks, experience beyond exposure, and excellence beyond competence. The best example of a surgeon and a professional with the above qualities is Dr. Manjunath Haridas; he identifies problems, figures out the best solutions, plans the treatment well, and, more importantly, executes carefully and smoothly based on the patients' response. Our patient has undergone a series of surgeries by Dr. Haridas during the long course of treatment. A couple of them were on thin ice but performed fair and square. I was diagnosed with gallstones and thought of get rid of them. The explanation provided and support given was tremendous for pre and post-surgery by Dr.Manjunath Haridas. My wife had many questions and he answered very patiently with diagrams, which was amazing to understand the internal issues. He gave full support to take our decision independently. Doctor sent enough publications to understand the laproscopic surgery . Suregery was completed without any issues. Admitted one day prior to surgery in hospital and discharged the second day after surgery. Pain was mild after 24 hrs and I am able to walk from 2nd day. I was normal after 5th day and able to work after a week. I felt, was in safe hands and even doctor made me smile when I was in operation theater, **** *** *** ******* ** ** *** ***** I am truly grateful. Whatsapp support is the best.

I was very pleased with my experience in Manipal, Whitefiled hospital. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. I appreciated their follow-up and willingness to answer questions also. A big thank you to entire team. Had small issue with insurance and resolved by management very quickly even though I didn’t had hopes for cashless claim. Mr.Arthur from insurance team helped a lot. Hospital is very clean and staff are very courteous.

26/08/18 - My mother had undergone laparoscopic surgery(My Hometown not in Manipal hospital) for the stone she had in gallbladder. Doctor removed gallbladder. After gallbladder removal she had lot of stomach pain and due to the bile leak (some sort of liquid which helps in digesting fatty food) her stomach was blotted. We went to the same doctor he made few inches of cut in stomach and taken out almost 2 liters of bile. She felt little well. Doctor added a drainage pipe which was coming out of stomach and said it will be stopped in few days, we waited for almost 2 weeks nothing happens bile leak still continued. I was worried and I called my mom and dad to bangalore immediately.

03/10/2018 - we met Dr. Manjunath Haridas, He saw the drainage and explained (Pictorial explanation) what all the possible problems she may have. He suggested for MRCP scan, Abdominal ultrasound and few lab tests related to that area. It took a while After seeing the report he confirmed there is a common haptic duct injury which has happened during the past surgery. He recommended hepatojejunostomy this is surgery related to the treatment of bile duct.

08/10/2018 - Dr Manjunath Haridas has successfully completed the major surgery.

He is very humble and kind doctor. He makes patient feel good all the time. My mom was admitted in hospital for 8 days he used to come every day to meet with her and he used to motivate her everytime. Pre surgery, during surgery and post surgery the support he has given was speechless.

My mom is good now we usually go to meet doctor every week.

Five star is really less, **** ****** **** **** ***** my dad had Rectal Polyps and we had consulted with many reputed hospitals in Jaipur, Chandigarh and Delhi but no luck and the treatment plan we’ve been advised by other doctors were also not at all satisfactory so one of my friend suggested to consult once with Dr Manjunath, i booked appointment immidiately and met Dr Manjunath he was very clear for treatment plan and described in very detail what it is and how he is going to treat, he has given whatsapp number and responded promptly whenever needed, to be very honest from very first visit we’ve got beleive and confidence for treatment, immediately i booked tickets for my Dad to Bangalore, We met doctor same day and my dad was so happy and confident(first time since he diagnosed polyps) very soon doctor operated my dad and taken polyp out and next day post operation he get discharged, we’ve been suggested in other hospital that min one week admission required now we know only for few bucks they suggesting unnecessary admission, after 3 days my father back normal basic life and post 1 week completely recovered, I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND DR MANJUNATH HARIDAS FOR ANY GASTRO PROBLEM, he one of finest doctor, great human being proud to have such a great doctor in Bangalore. There are a few things which I liked about the Surgeon which greatly increased my treatment experience. Although time will only tell how much I recovered as it will take minimum 3 months to reach to a complete recovery stage. But I highly recommend the Doctor to anyone requiring general surgery from personal experiences.

During consultation phase, there was a clear explanation by Doctor on the issue including videos on the surgery process. He gave me print outs of Do's and Don't of post surgery which clearly presents all the necessary instructions which shows his organised nature. Then he gave enough time to question him any doubt which really helped me as I was very anxious and had a lot of question in mind.

Secondly Doctor added me in his whatsapp where he was very agile in replying to any question that I have asked at any time during pre & post surgery phase. Even I have sent him pictures of my incisions asking if every thing looks OK which saved me from visiting him in the hospital during the time when I was in much pain.

Overall a pleasing experience and hope to recover at the earliest. Many thanks to the Doctor.

I had consulted with Dr. Manjunath Haridas at Manipal Whitefield after I got diagnosed with gallstones. I'm writing this review 10 days post my lap-chole, with one post-op follow up already done. My experience with Dr. Manjunath Haridas was excellent. He explained the causes of the issue, stressed upon the need of a healthy lifestyle in general and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed about the upcoming surgery. I'm told that the surgery itself went very smoothly (which is something I'm not qualified enough to judge myself of course). But I did note the lack of pain and discomfort post my surgery. The incisions healed well and I'm seeing visible changes to the scars almost on a daily basis. They are already small and not too raised on the skin, so I have good hopes of even better results in a few months time. So far no issues with digestion either so things seem to be working well on the inside too.One thing in particular that I (and my parents) loved is Dr. Manjunath's general demeanor. I've not come across a lot of doctors who hold doors and joke and generally refrain from giving very obvious doctor vibes. These made me feel less like a patient and I'm very grateful for that, along with the good medical treatment.

The Doctor Mr.Manjunath haridas, from Manipal hospital Whitefield is a good professional surgeon, I have undergone laparoscopic appendectomy on 21st of march, 2020. I am happy to tell that my surgery went extremely well ,I thank you so much doctor for that.But I like to suggest few things which the doctor has to correct himself, We consult the surgeon because we have full faith in him and he is like a god to us, In my case the doctor did not meet me before the surgery or after the surgery, I remember him telling hi just before the surgery where I had to confirm that he was the surgeon.For every question of mine there was only one answer from the nurse and duty doctor that I should ask the surgeon, The surgeon never came untill I was discharged which was Very disappointing.After the discharge I had severe back pain on the 5 th day after my surgery, I called the hospital and told them to connect me to Dr.manjunath haridas but the doctor did not pick up the call. I had consulted a General physician near my home and even he suggested me to consult the surgeon which the hospital couldn't connect to and they are not ready to give me the doctor mobile number.What I like to suggest is being a reputed surgeon please give your number to the patient who has undergone a surgery or please take the call in case of emergency.Even today i am not sure when I should remove the strip which has been put on my operated part and much more..

Exceptionally good experience with the doctor. When gall bladder stone was detected along with high SGPT levels for my father I consulted him.The way he explained diagrammatically the entire situation and also the possibility of alternative treatment option. It was very comprehensible and impressive. We also showed the reports to our family doctor who scared us that the high SGPT levels may indicate liver failure, hepatitis and that we should immediately hospitalize him.It was a nightmare and we were really tense.But we discussed the issue with Manjunath on call again.He explained in detail as to why the levels could be high and we should wait for 3 days and repeat the test.We decided to stick with Dr Manjunath's treatment and after three days levels came down the same way as doctor had suggested. He continuously kept in touch with us both before and after the surgery..He is unlike other doctors who scare patients and attempt to make amount.He genuinely cares about the patient and its evident from the courteous way he treats the patients. His expertise makes the patient believe in him and his cheerful attitude reduces the recovery time of the patient.It has been a month post surgery and my father's recovery has been great.Thumbs up to the doctor..

Highly Recommended doctor!

My wife had a severe pain one day and we went in Emergency in Manipal Whitefield, from there we were referred to Dr. Manjunath.

He paitently heard the problem and told us that she have to go for Gall bladder removal as she had multiple small stones in gall bladder.

So we consulted and discussed couple of more times with him and to our surprise he is real a gem of a person.

He is very honest and experienced doctor we ever met.

He explained each and every thing very clearly on how the process happens and gave us much needed confidence for under going surgery.

As we have 10 month old infant so we were in double thoughts of going now or later, but Dr. Manjunath helped us to clear the doubts and explained all if and buts.

He gave his personal number and was always available for any kind of questions.

Surgery went very smooth and he motivated us many times before and after surgery.

He is very soft spoken which ideally you dont see in doctors.

My wife is recovering and he is helping her to recover very fast with proper guidance.
