Later she did her DNB in pediatrics from Baptist Hospital in Bangalore and worked for a short period at St. Johns Hospital, Bangalore. She has a Fellowship in NICU from AIMS a Deemed University. In the field of Neonatology, She has expertise in the care of preterm babies as small as 500 Gms and is trained in pressure, volume and high-frequency ventilation and nitic oxide therapy. As a member of NNF and IAP, she has been a guest speaker at various conferences and is actively involved in nursing education and training of fellowship students.
