She has also initiated the NICU services at Motherhood Hospital in Bangalore. She graduated from Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai and did her DCH from the prestigious Institute of Child Health, Madras Medical College. Later she did her DNB in pediatrics from Baptist Hospital in Bangalore and worked for a short period at St. Johns Hospital, Bangalore. She has a Fellowship in NICU from AIMS a Deemed University. In the field of Neonatology, She has expertise in the care of preterm babies as small as 500 Gms and is trained in pressure, volume and high-frequency ventilation and nitic oxide therapy.
